Has it got as bad as that? I thought £10 a g in the uk was expensive. Now I'm out west in the emerald isle I guess i'd better be rationing what i've grown.

That's like €700 an oz? How much do you have to buy before it becomes reasonable?!?

thanks for the reply buds,indoor all the way for me,couldn risk growing outside,too much hassle aswell....
my setup is 1.20 secret jardin11,600watt light takes mh an hps bulbs,rhino filter and fan,gonna grow 4 plants jus don't know what strain ta go for,theres so many now.....my last grow a few year ago was lemon skunk from ghs....

Perfect for 4 plants. Lemon skunk is good and easy to grow, When it comes to strains the world is your oyster. browse some of the breeders etc and go for the easy strains and you should be fine.
 
sorry buds I cant like posts yet,is there a breeder you would recommend,had a lot of hermie issues with ghs before...thinkin strongly bout dinafems dinachem.45e for five beans from irishseedbank,,u any experience with this strain?
 
Im not sure about the Irish seed bank, Anyone order from them lately?
MD is our resident seed expert and he knows the PROMO codes, im sure he will chime in.

Great to see the thread still going and so many new users....

You veterans of this thread may remember me from last year, however you newbies won't know who i am but I will give you a quick run down..

Last August I had a knock on the door from the filth, they took with them 15 plants (2ft-3ft and in bloom) and 16 clones...(just taken so no roots)
The also took with them my dried bud and a lump of shitty hash that i had forgotten about..

Nightmare i hear you cry... and yeah well it is... Been to court last month where it was deferred to the poxie circut court, so now Im waiting for my next court date appearance (early june) and meet with my solicitor and barrister... Thankfully I got legal aid..!

The only good news is that im 90% sure who ratted me up... bad news is I cant touch him as everyone will know its me if he's found face down in the harbour.... (im currently looking at a solution to this...)

So whats it like been without and weed or as i like to say "my medication"... Well its been tough as well as the back pain, however I do have a knight in shining armour that has shared his bit with me and introduced me to "Dabbing" with BHO, which I must say is the best pain relief ever... really does the trick, however as you could imagine its shit hard to get hold of.....

So thats me and my story... Hopefully the judge got a blower of his missus the day me and him meet and I get away lightly, but I can say that I WILL grow again but will be on top of a mountain somewhere for my own safety, not from the filth but from the wife..!

sorry ta hear that man,hate seen growers caught,bummer someone ratted ya out....if its your first offence I don't think youll get a custodial sentence...heres a link hope it eases your mind,,wish ya luck man..

Yeah, seen that about ye man in Mayo.... There's hope for me yet..

I almost got away with it in such a way that they had all my dried stock and was goin to deal with the matter there and then however, One guard went to my shed opened the door, had a quick look around and then started to close the door when he copped a small light leak from my cloning chamber.. !!.. BUSTED!!

Would of been laughing if i got busted and they actually missed my grow..!

I'm just feckin raging about ye man that ratted me up... He was one of my smoking partners that came to my house and smoke my medicine on a daily basis, then he got busted for something or other and then ratted me out to save his own ass....

I placed 2 orders in Jan. 5 OSS Chronic Lights, then 5 Expert Seeds Cheese. They sent 6, so either they reward you for ordering twice in a week, or they don't count so good!
No particular stealth in the packages but they got here pretty quick. Some of their prices seem waaay high- Jack Plant from advanced seeds for example. Makes me wanna order some, but nof from them!
 
How do they value cuttings at €50 each? Cos they weigh 2 or 3 grammes?!? Maybe I should get into selling clones at 20 quid a pop. Seems like I could subsidise the leccy bill that way
 
jay it might be best to delete your account and start over, how much you paying for bho, only heard mad prices myself.

depends on the judge, cuts have been ignored in the past, cut house would be smart over here, possibility of less legal headaches compared to flowering plants.

its great they only value them at 50e,i allways taught everything from seedling up was valued at 800e...so much bullshit in the papers and on the internet...so my reckoning is first time caught with two or three plants,no matter what size = slap on the wrist.....worth the chance imo

@nidgy: Kannabia out of spain is the breeder, its a stunner of a strain I loved the shit out of it. Off of one BCN Diesel plant I got just over 2oz using hydro indoors, BCN stands for Barcelona Spain. I use attitude seeds or cannazon.com out of the UK but your irish seed bank may have it. By the way I'm in California, San Francisco to be exact but I am irish. For attitude seed bank 420 is the promo.

Now that I have made a few friends in the grow op and dispensary community I get all kinds of samples, sorry not meaning to sound like bragging, and I expect today or tomorrow I am going to pick up some peaches and cream which I have never heard of nor do I know its lineage but I will find out from the breeder. I looked all over the internet and P&C is no where to be found. The breeder must have just put it out.

And once I again I or we my grow op buddies have jack skellington, Gogi OG, BLZ Bud, and Double White growing right now but they are still vegging right now.

@budsahoi: the new strains are coming out so fast it is nearly impossible to keep up with having Washington, Oregon, California, and Colorado having so many excellent breeders I am seeing new strains I have never heard of every day. but I still know well over a hundred strains but last time I checked there was an estimation of over 600 strains now, I think there are more myself.

Good lord your own friend, he should have took it like a man and kept his damn mouth shut. No reason to rat especially a friend that shared their own meds that they took all the time to grow. That sucks man and I'm guessing he is not a friend anymore.
