I know your pro LP leaffan but you also can understand common sense sometimes when it comes to how broken this system is, not spewing HC bullshit..... to be fair like you .... some say that they have had good experiences with LP's but not a lot... that's the thing.... or one time they had a good experience only to find out that it's bad the next time.... or inconsistencies..... I have yet to hear someone come forward saying .... from day one everything's been roses .... I get great meds every single time..... nope we hear last times was good this time was bad... they irradiate without telling at time of order.... out of stock when I order the same ...... or it's been bad everytime and I even changed LP's 3 times..... like I said before, I hope there is an LP out there that provides quality everytime but it's not happenin' .... so to me it's broken from the get go..... there needs to be a choice more than the LP's for everyone....
but ya know ..... really those ppl that have had issues growing... probably can't keep a plastic plant alive.... time and care is all that's required, no harder than growing tomatoes.

I'm pro LP. I'm pro grow at home. I'm pro store fronts too.
The "system" is fucked. It could have been so easy to do it correctly.
The only good news with this situation is if it isn't fixed in the very near future, then come next Feb we will have a slam dunk in court.
I am really surprised that the LPs have got off to such a ...well...pathetic start. I wasn't expecting perfection, but what we have seen is just not acceptable.
I would take a bet, I'd even give 2 to 1 odds that within a year you will be seeing consistent quality meds coming from most of the LPs. If they aren't they will be out of business. I look forward to having the option of buying good quality affordable meds from LPs, especially when store fronts come on to the scene.

Haven't seen any new pics, will be interesting to see how the most recent batches turn out.

Indeed, was told by a rep that they would post pics on their site of the product to get an idea of what it looks like........I'm sure the pics will be a fair representation of the actual product the patients gets...

well I for one .... not going to order 30 plus grams of something I haven't seen or tried before, trust isn't part of my dealings with these LP's... that would be like throwing out money... specially if they supply crap, ppl can't afford to get a boat load of crap
I agree, I haven't fronted money for weed since my teens, the real reason this program will fail is without Storefront Retail Shopping(Dispensaries) we have a Take What You Get deliver system(LCP). They will never be able to produce Medical Cannabis as they are required to irradiate their Product.

kinda cool if the CC's were store fronts for LP's .... show that LP card that means nothing and pick up what you can see and smell, which gets counted toward your g/day limits

... when they find mites and mold in their street weed.
If I'm not mistaken, your options at that point are zap or toss.
Irradiation is primarily for bacteria and will do nothing for mites or other insects/foreign bodies. Irradiation also does not magically render moldy weed safe and smokeable......once there is mold, the product is already a huge health risk and is complete garbage. The primary purpose of irradiation is to deal with bacteria, so yes, if a batch's bacteria counts rise over time, then you could attempt to employ irradiation to deal with that, destroying terpenes in the process. Some LP's will zap it and retest it, others will just destroy it....it will depend on a number of factors.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. With proper QA procedures and employee training, irradiation is 100% NOT NECESSARY to meet regulatory standards.

you are wrong I Called HC last week and asked and they said yes it has to be irradiate and that it is in the Regs.
This is false. Have you read the regs? LPs are selling non-irradiated product already, and others are providing a choice between irradiated and non.

There are standards that have to me met, they do not tell you how you have to meet those standards. Irradiation is not necessary to meet the standards and is only a method some LP's choose to employ to the detriment of product quality.

I've read the regulations. I also just searched them again.
Words like "radiate" and "treat" show up nowhere.
I think whoever you called at HC is simply wrong.
