in China, they prefer large knives, due to gun control. they do a LOT of damage, and choose younger victims, that cannot fend them off. do we need 90 round clips in our AR's? well..........take the fascist junta out of the pic, and my answer is "no." as it stands now, I wish I could purchase mortars and howitzers.

intentional mass gun murders are no big deal when compared to accidental auto wrecks, so we shouldn't worry about intentional mass gun murders. in the same way, there are so few cases of voter fraud so as to be completely negligible by any measure, so we shouldn't worry about that as much as we worry about how many legitimate voters will be disenfranchised by voter ID laws.
i like that solution especially because it ignores the will of the american people. banning high capacity mags and a national registry and universal background checks are massively popular with americans but we ignore them. we can continue the trend by ignoring the slight majority of americans in favor of voter ID laws.

Car deaths accounts for 10.83 deaths per capita.
Guns account for 4.8 deaths per capita.

To compare stats, you have to normalize the amount of each item being used as well.
Take the amount of guns in use at any given time, and compare it to the amount of car/vehicles in use at any given time.
Do the same thing with the incidences, and fatal incidences.
If 10 people per year do parachuteless skydiving and all 10 people die, it has a 100% death rate. It might only be 10 people, but anyone who did it would be virtually guaranteed to die. Have to look at rates of use/action vs rates of getting fucked up from use/action.
