Personal opinions on strains

What strains have you had your highest yields in.

Im growing indoors have 2 600 hps
And only want 2 grow 2 plants.

Im growing light of jah and would like to try different strains.

What would you recommend and why.

critical plus is a good yielder but i've not had many nice phenotypes of it.

1 plant per light is extravagant, picking the wrong strain could spell disaster if it is a large amount you require. i'm currently running a similar set up and have blue pit by breeders boutique, it is a good yielder that has great flavour and potency, a dream to grow really. www.breedersboutique.co.uk/site

i've run it in a few different set ups, it always yields really well, one gram per watt is possible but on a one plant to one light set up getting one gram per watt is a big ask.

here is a garden running at the minute: 4x 600w hps, 2x blue pit and 1x exodus cheese, all from cutting. in coco beds

Do you do any sort of topping or lst ?

Also my plants dont seem to get that big.

Although I do veg under cfls in small pots

if you put a gun to my head it would be the nl5 x haze but i honestly would never try them by choice. i have grown a couple of sensi strains but they just seem to lack any real punch, i've heard a few good things about the nl 5 x haze but it will take a long time to bloom and it stretches a hell of a lot.

the deep blue by breeders boutique is also an excellent yielder that ripens quickly, i would recommend that if you can't get the pit. like i mentioned earlier, the strains from sensi are more or less the same as they were in the 90's, good for an introduction to growing but lacking the flavours and potency of some of these newer hybrids.

i train quite heavily on all plants but it is different for different strains. these plants had a lot of veg time that is why they are so big, not exactly time or energy efficient but it'll keep me in bud for a while!

How are your light of jahs going? Mates got some 9weeks into veg and have slowed right now, Amsterdammarijuanaseeds have a strain called Big buds its gives an extravagant yield but needs the space to grow but really comes down to factors like space, light wattage, fertilizers, air flow, co2 systems etc more veg time = more/bigger buds but I guess experience is key to getting bigger yields..

well i don't know the answer to that unfortunately but why not give them an email and ask?. the staff are really helpful and cooperative, they also offer excellent freebies that can sometimes turn out better than what you had originally ordered lol.

Im trying one light of jah at the moment its beem in flower for 4 weeks.

The plant hight isnt thst tall for some reason. Its about 60cm but the buds are looking good.

Yeah he's are about that hight too topped a couple and they have seem to bushed out really nice, how are the buds looking?? Iv had jah before its prob one of the best highs iv ever had

I just wanted to back up ghb on breeders boutique. I started ordering their gear about a year ago and have grown about 7 of their strains and have been very happy with all of them. Their freebies are the best I've found with amount and quality.

Ive honestly havent ever smoked light of jah yet so im hoping on a really good high.

And first time growing a plant that flowering timw is 10-13 weeks so at 4 weeks it dosnt look 2 bad.
I just hope It produces a higher yield than my other grows.

Ive had ak and northen soul 2 differnet grows. Each grow produced 12 oz dry.
But I sisnt have much knowledge now ive learned alot setup and designed my room for optimal growth so hoping to get alot more.

My all time favorite is the dog, but it's not the biggest yielder but kicks your ass. The black ss was a big yielder with nice punch. I haven't found 1 I wouldn't recommend. The blue pit is all that ghb said also, maybe check, it might not be out of stock for long.

My main goal is high yield dont mind the potency I get stoned off anything. Lol

Just need to yield enough to stop buying and wasting money lol
