Obama punted marriage equality to the states
you keep on repeating this as if he had the choice to actually sign a nationwide marriage equality bill. he didn't.

he wasn't even a member of the supreme court, the entity that actually did punt it to the states and lower courts.

repeating something that is completely false like you are doing is just sad and pathetic. your talking point has been refuted and worn out.

Look how mad you got because Obama punted marriage equality to the states. It's kinda cute. Your anger is misdirected though, I have nothing personally to do with Obama's cowardice.
I'm not "mad." (LOL at choice of word)

I'm glad that most Americans look at the rethug party as old, privileged and bigoted. :)

LOL you mean I keep repeating his words? Yep, guilty.

Not everyone has to agree, "from a religious standpoint," that same-sex couples should be allowed to marry, President Obama told Telemundo in an interview taped Wednesday. But as the Supreme Court considers two cases on the hot-button issue, he added, recognizing same-sex couples is "not only is it right and fair, but also consistent with our Constitution."

The president came out in support of gay marriage last May, qualifying that law relating to the issue should be determined at the state level. Mr. Obama stood by that sentiment Wednesday, talking to what the court might do as it examines the constitutionality of California's gay marriage ban, Proposition 8, and the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which defines marriage as being between a man and a woman.

Say it cap locks or colors and maybe you will be believed in spite of his words dangling in front of you.

I seriously look at all of the old worn out dudes in DC as bigoted. You need some Biden quotes about needing an Indian accent to shop at 7-11? You probably will dismiss this though as I have you fitting nicely in my stereotypical emotional logically challenged lib box.

Obama would make gay marriage legal in all states but ginwilly won't let him is a pretty pathetic argument.

do you know what the definition of "repeating" is?

for example, i am repeating rend pawl's words when i say that rend pawl wants to "win back the hearts and minds of people" towards inequality. he said those words, and i am repeating them.

obama never said "i am punting to the states". he never even had a choice you weasel turd.

if all the other overweight, middle aged, bigoted, limp dicked southerners (whom i shall dub "ginwillies) voted for democrat reps, a bill for obama to sign might have already hit his desk.

instead, the ginwillies send bigoted republicans who favor marriage inequality to the house.

Biden is an idiot, no shit. Republicans and Libertarians actively try to hold down minorities. Look at Lee Atwater, Ronald Reagan and today's Rethugs when it comes to the Southern Strategy, which still exists and was widened to be bigoted against religious minorities. Sometimes democrats say stupid things but repubs and libertarians actively try to hold down minorities. BIG difference, but you are privileged and myopic so you can't see it.

Yep that one, the one that you said could not get through congress yet did anyway. Do you not think it's worth trying the same for gay marriage?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_supporters_of_same-sex_marriage_in_the_United_States#National

there are 233 republicans in the house.

3 support marriage equality. about 1.3%.

there are 199 democrats in the house.

184 support marriage equality. that's 92.4%.

yet you somehow want to act as if it is obama holding up marriage equality, and that the ginwillies (see earlier definition) are blameless.

you can't even tell which numbers are larger or smaller than 218.

what a fucking stooge you are.

You are right. He probably dislikes minorities on some level. His view on abortion proves he is against women.
I've never really been in a conversation with you before. The fact that you take me saying it's not my right to tell another if she can have one means I'm against women probably means we won't have another. There's one bucktard too many, I don't need to try to have any real debate with another.

I'm a dark-skinned Mediterranean, bet you didn't see that one coming. As a kid growing up in Detoilet, I wasn't considered white by the lilly whites OR the blacks. My mother was though. Don't listen to buck when he talks about me, he's wrong more than he's right.

i agree, don't listen to me. listen to what ginwilly says.

here he is basically calling blacks stupid for wanting civil rights.

What happens when you force someone to serve me when they don't want to is I get spit in my food without my knowledge. Why on earth would anyone want to be where they are not welcome?

Atwater: As to the whole Southern strategy that Harry S. Dent, Sr. and others put together in 1968, opposition to the Voting Rights Act would have been a central part of keeping the South. Now [the new Southern Strategy of Ronald Reagan] doesn't have to do that. All you have to do to keep the South is for Reagan to run in place on the issues he's campaigned on since 1964 and that's fiscal conservatism, balancing the budget, cut taxes, you know, the whole cluster.

Questioner: But the fact is, isn't it, that Reagan does get to the Wallace voter and to the racist side of the Wallace voter by doing away with legal services, by cutting down on food stamps?

Atwater: You start out in 1954 by saying, "N*gger, n*gger, n*gger." By 1968 you can't say "n*gger" — that hurts you. Backfires. So you say stuff like forced busing, states' rights and all that stuff. You're getting so abstract now [that] you're talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you're talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is [that] blacks get hurt worse than whites. And subconsciously maybe that is part of it. I'm not saying that. But I'm saying that if it is getting that abstract, and that coded, that we are doing away with the racial problem one way or the other. You follow me — because obviously sitting around saying, "We want to cut this," is much more abstract than even the busing thing, and a hell of a lot more abstract than "N*gger, n*gger."[8][9]
