What ever it is it should be plenty big to see. Is it outdoors? Maybe a grass hopper. If it is worms you should be able to see them on the plant. Look under all leaves.

I had some leafs that looked eaten like that too. Turns out it was an earwig living inside a deformed leaf

Good advice, look under every leaf that's usually were they hide.

Sometimes it happens. I've sprinkled minced garlic or garlic powder around and on my plants outdoors with good results. A lot of pests hate garlic. You can also sprinkle crushed eggshells around your plant to deter slugs. :peace:

If it's outdoors you better be prepared for all sorts of insects. Neem works fine for me. I found slugs more on my stems. Never seen a lot of dem either. Each year can be different.
I grow outdoor by a swamp one thing eats another.

To many different kinds of bugs/insects outdoors for anyone to give you a exact answer. You have to just hope you find the source of the problem soon and annihilate the bastards

One thing I forgot about because you see them all the time but not on your plant. Earwigs, Them little Phuckers can get it done.

when its dark, using a flashlight would mess it up right??? I've been looking into organocide, neem oil. and mixing rubbing alcohol.
