Colloidal Silver Question

For a little background. I have never ungone any breeding nor have I used colloidal silver; However, I do have everything that it takes to make the colloidal silver water. Now, on to business.

I have a few plants of NL that were grown from feminized seeds. Should it work if I use colloidal silver on these plants to produce pollen for a breeding experiment? Or, will the fact that they were already feminized affect the outcome negatively?

The fact that they are feminized already means nothing except that they are females. Colloidal silver will cause your female plants to make pollen sacs, but these will be FEMALE pollen sacs. Not male flowers. That's the mistake everyone makes. The pollen only has the double x chromosomes from the mother plant that is being used (sprayed with colloidal silver) so there is no chance of the babies being male. That would require normal male pollen with potential for y chromosomes to create.

So in short, YES you can, it'll be fine.

Start spraying as soon as you see the first pistils.

That's what I was looking for. Thanks a million Hazy. I am going to use the pollen from the NL female to pollinate a female Mandarin Orange. I can't wait to see, smoke, and taste the results.
