Okay so i go into check on my 6 foot tall Green Crack Female this morning, and it had one node that had become top heavy from its bud and was located on the floor but was still connected to my baby. so i cut that node along with 2 other nodes that seemed soon to go. I put the 3 nodes worth of bud in the drying rack and left the rest of the plant alone to see if i can get some more progress with the buds that havent become top heavy. The top bud is a monster and i dont want it to stop growing yet, but i can go cut it down if i have to. Im just curious ---

With what i've done will the other 30 or so buds continue to grow larger, or did i stress it to much by cutting off 3 top heavy nodes and should just go finish it off and get ready to smoke it. I had 3 plants going 2 ended up being male and none of my clones from the green crack rooted properly, i think my rooting gel is expired, anyways if you could answer my question as soon as possible, any help is appreciated. I use Pro Mix with Advanced Nutrients --Sensi Bloom - Bud Blood - Voodoo Juice, B52, Big Bud, Nirvana, and Revive / Photosynthesis Plus are my 2 foliars. i can add pictures if necessary, im just busy right now.

EDIT: Also i use a 1000w HPS / Metal Halide iPower combo.

Just tie some shit around the heavy colas to hold em up man, no need to chop em off, and i would assume that cutting big main colas off the plant would definitely stress her out some. I know some people just pick off buds as they mature im unsure about full tops. Hopefully someone who had a similar experience could chime in.

If the branch snaps due to a heavy load, just tape it using duct tape at the break, support the bud, and all will be good. You have to figure out a way to support your buds, before the snap occurs, because it will happen on a good plant. Cutting bud for any reason other than ripeness, is not a good thing, but will not stress the plant, unless you go Bonsai on it. Support the plant, keep your fingers off of the snips, and you will be fine. Lastly, you are using too many additives, as maybe 1 bud booster would be good enough with a proper nute regime throughout the plants growth. All the shit you are using for bloom is a waste of money in my opinion, so save the cash and just buy great seed instead. Big Bud is a crock of shit also, or so I have found. If you want an excellent bloom food, use Awesome Blossoms by Technaflora, as it is twice the PK of Big Bud, so you will only have to use 1/2 as much. It is the best bloom food out there, as it is simple, cost effective, and guaranteed to produce fox tails in most varieties which I like for a bunch of reasons. One is that they are great for BHO. I luv that stuff. Peace out, bro

I agree, I don't personally know anything about the Techaflora, but GH makes other good products that I use.

FWIW, I've had big, top heavy colas before and have simply supported then individually with some fairly lightweight string. On others, if they were ready to harvest I've taken the big bud and left the rest to mature. Both worked out fine.

In either case, the buds still on the plant will continue to grow, you haven't done that much damage. Some people actually take buds early ( 1/2 cloudy ), then some later ( all cloudy ) and then lastly ( 1/2 cloudy-1/2 amber ). You're golden !

being that my plant was already burnt from inexperience of Sensi bloom, i decided against allowing it to proceed, im settling with what i have, i have already cut her down all of her bud is on the drying rack the leftover material will be whipped into bubble hash tonight and tomorrow. I will recieve from harvest roughly 2-3 ounces, this plant recieved much stress as it is the first of its kind as i like to say. It was the first on this growing system, this is only my 3rd grow of all time, this grow has provided me with alot of experience and experiments as to what works. i looked at my buds under a 420 scope they are 1/2 cloudy 1/2 amber so generally where i like to harvest at anyways. This grow has been rather disappointing , low harvest yield, but i know where my mistake occurred and i have addressed the situation. Next grow will be improved ten fold. sadly the plant i just chopped up had alot of potential and it was cut short but this has been my most successful grow thus far and its all thanks to the change in nutes / soil / etc.
