New Plant from roots?

Im very new to growing and my first grow became root bound and had 2 roots that went above the soil and formed leaves i transplanted my plant outside and plucked the two new root sprouts out as deep as possible and put them in there own soil. They are very small and not likely to survive but has anyone had this happened and did it survive.

Never had that happen i think it would be very possible, but impractical as it would form from roots and be very weak. When the DEA destroy pot farms, they rip veging plants out the dirt. they usually burn flowering plants. they do this to stop plants from re growing in that area, but they take care to kill the roots too. weed is a weed, its a tough plant. Great question to bring up tho.

I sure will i have one inside and also one outside and the one outside is still connected to the complete root system and has grown since the first time i saw it. The other one i have inside did not look like it has grown but it is still green and looks like it has a chance maybe its not growing because its forming more roots but maybe not. Only time will tell. Im calling them my mini clones hah.

lol, nice, but yeah as long as its green it will eventually grow, the only time i found this to not be true is when i get a stopper, its a plant that only grows the round seed leaves then stops, its still alive and it greener and greener untill its almost black. never wilts or dies but never grows. just a rare genetic thing among some kinds of sativa.

Heres a picture of the new sprout it doesn't look like a weed plant but it is connected the rest of the roots. (ignore the horrible looking plant I'm already hitting myself for putting it out last night lol) Its right behind the actual plant. on the left.

It might live, depends on how damaged the roots are. What does your budget look like if you don't mind me asking? :peace:

I thought the same thing and you could be right but when another one popped and i dug around it and it was connected to the root system i thought other wise. I post more pictures or something if they actually grow.
