Stressing my girl to make a lot of trichomes ?

Hey guys, as you can see in the pics, this is my main girl. With a nice main bud and also developing buds on the nodes right under the main cola.
I have been looking around the interwebs :D for methods to make buds bigger and with a lot of trichomes, and have found so many opinions about stressing the plant, cutting fan leaves ,etc, which all could work but could also do harm , so that is why I am asking you for some advice.
How can I stress my plant to produce lots of crystals ? so far I cant see any crystals in my plants bud :(
I know it might be early and I am impatient to see some trichs, but besides some special nute or bloom additive, what can I do physically to help my girl grow big and frosty?
Plant is now almost 5 weeks in flowering (its a slow first grow so yeah).

You should physically stay away from your plant except to feed and water her judiciously. Noobs often try to fly before they can stand and plant death and destruction is inevitably the end result. Good growers don't stress their plants, they provide a proper environment and let them grow themselves as they have been doing for tens of thousands of years. Grow a couple of plants a couple of times successfully and then decide if you want to tweak the process. F$&@ing with your plants will only cause problems you will then try to "fix" again with the end result being death and destruction.

If you insist on harming your plants then please visit one of the many defoliation threads and start ripping the leaves off of your plants.....they also insist it helps. Happy Growing and good luck. :weed:

If this is your first grow or your only plant, leave her alone and just focus on giving her the best fighting chance. If you have a few cycles under your belt and can afford to lose a plant, you should experiment, find what works for you, for me, half the fun to growing is experimenting and finding stuff out for myself what works and what doesn't.

So I just read today that some growers put ICE on the top of their soil in the last week before harvest, supposedly this helps the plant get extra frosty? does anyone know anything about this ?
I don't think this would stress the plant to much as cutting fan leaves and other stuff would.

Lol, save the ice cubes for an average scotch (cos you shouldn't water down good scotch) and leave your girls alone, Haha.

What about complete darkness for 72h before chop ? that should stress the plant into making all the tric's it can due to thinking its going to die, at least that is what I've read.

Can't forget putting a rusty nail in the bottom of the stem .. Some plants are frost factories, while others (even if the exact same genetic makeup) just aren't. The plant looks extremely small for 5 weeks flowering, what sort of lighting are you using?? Good luck!

There is a utube video about darkness for 3 days before chop he has 1 plant no darkness and 1 darkness there is a visable increase in trichome but trichomes dont mean a better high or stronger thc

That's 5 weeks into flower? DANG,,,,,,,,,,
yea man, its been a slow grow, its my first time and I didnt have good soil or powerful lights, and its bag seed , that makes for a small slow plant. but at least its flowering and in the last days there's been lots more pistils growing in the main cola and in all nodes.

Pimps slap up their whores so they'll bring in more money. Try that.

Are you using a picture of the sun for lighting? Looks like you'll be harvesting your frosty buds around Christmas...
Nope, using CFL 6400k. I honestlly dont think it will take till Xmas for harvest but judging how they are developing I hope 3 weeks maybe 4 weeks more:D
I'll post some update pics soon .

You've got alot more than 4 weeks left for sure, I'd venture to say end of July at the earliest for a chop, Labor Day for a decent dried/cured rip. Just my opinion.
