Nah, I don't really see the point in growing in soil, there's plenty of other mediums that are much easier to grow in hydroponically. I get bigger, more potent plants with a much smoother smoke when I grow in soil less mediums.was that with Happy Frog? too bad it doesnt actually contain lysergic acid diethylamide.
i hadnt grown hydros, so i wouldnt know. about how tall and wide does the buds get? also does it require more maintenance?Nah, I don't really see the point in growing in soil, there's plenty of other mediums that are much easier to grow in hydroponically. As big as your fist easily. The start up costs are more expensive, and it's less forgiving to someone learning, but pays off big once you nail iti hadnt grown hydros, so i wouldnt know. about how tall and wide does the buds get? also does it require more maintenance?
my friend did hydros, he grew them upside down, and he kept them in veg for a long time. we used to trade some buds and it was really good. we growin the same stuff, (i got my seeds and clones from him) im going to try it. an indoor hydro setup, as usual my first grow will be small untill i work with it enough. just ordered some supplys. ill have a setup by sunday. As big as your fist easily. Yeah the hydro is more productive, but soil grow is less harsh and there is a lil improvement of taste, especially with sweet and berry flavors. if you want a sorta spicy flavor i think hydro is the way to go as you can taste the spicy sandlewood kinda flavor, but still have lil bit of skunkiness to it.Yeah hydro isnt that hard at all once u get the basics of it down. I grew my first grown in water in a bubbleponic system it was pretty easy to maintain just keeping the pH right and the nutes and water fresh. Is there any better benefit in growing in soil over hydro? Ive read it tastes better and its the natural way to grow. But I flushed my plant with distilled pHed water and it tastes fine too me and ill do the same with my auto in the coco.

I prefer the taste of hydro. The terpenes really stand out and the plant will get a proper flush. I have no idea what MarijuanaBug is talking about, as he seems like he's just pulling answers out of his ass at this point because nothing of what he is saying makes sense. The taste in cannabis comes from the terpenes in it, not "sweet soil and spicy hydro". The only thing I ever taste when I smoke soil grown cannabis are the salts that were built up in the plant and never properly flushed out. Are you growing in soil? I just never grown in it b4 but really curious about it tho. What way are you growing?I have to agree with bigbudmicro. This is deteriorating into a new grower telling a new grower info that is not correct situation. You need to buy quality soil if you want build it your self start w some promix and head to mill and feed and build a soil from one of the multiple recipes found here on RIU. Or if not I personally like ocean forest over happy frog but a lot of people mix them together. Fox farm soil is very good but has a tendency to have gnats. Grab some bug strips to hang in your tent.
Im running just straight ocean forest this run. Ive only hit it once w some flower nutes (AN i had laying around) check out the plant in my sig. Shes just starting to yellow up a little on top. So yea at the end youll need to feed her or build a more diverse soil w amendments in the beginningAre you growing in soil? I just never grown in it b4 but really curious about it tho. If you are doing hydro outside make sure you either dig a hole out for the rez or have another way to chill it. You don't want those roots to start cooking on hot daysYeah I think im gonna stick with coco hydro again on the seed I planted just cuz I know how to grow with it and ill be growing it outside.
