I have a fertilizer called b'cuzz foliar. its full of micro nutrients and is 100% organic. will it help my seedlings in any way? It recommends to use it every 5-10 days. Im just wondering because I saw a b'cuzz product called root stimulator which was 0-0-0.7. I guess you can use b'cuzz foliar with all of thier products. I dont know if that means mixing them or using seperate.

My vote is to not lay a finger on seedlings, other than water. For the first 1-2, maybe 3 weeks anyways.

Why are you using bloom ferts on your seedlings? You need to flush them, wait until they are a month or two old, and then feed them a veg fert like Foxfarm Grow Big.

no offence dude but with that many posts and you havent read the grow faq. if you had i`m sure it and anybody else will tellya wait 3 weeks or so. ther is enough nutes in the soil to cary them.
and to the other one do you use veg nutes in bloom. lol. sorry bud i`m just screwing aroungd, i meen no offence. big bloom dosn`t have enough nitrogen to sustain them. thier probably not yellow yet because there is nitrogen in soil

The grow FAQ doesnt cover foliar feeding seedlings. Im just asking before doing anything. I think the first guy was right about not feeding nutes untill 2 weeks from germination.

lol, bonz got served.

anyway, yea, leave seedlings alone, potting soil contains enough nutrients to carry them through 2-3 weeks of growing.

then you can introduce vegging nutes (at 1/4 strength) and build up.

ite,

the 3 numbers = N,P,K, these stand for Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium (google the periodic table of elements to get to know your symbols) these are the three main compounds needed for plant growth.

basics: you are going to want a fertilizer rich in all of these elements for the vegetative stage of growing, about 3 weeks after germination. a 20-20-20 fertilizer is preferable. this means the fertilizer has 20% nitrogen, 20% phosphorus and 20% potassium. (often these percentages will be a little off as there are other additives in fertilizers)

for the flowering stage of your plant/s a fertilizer rich in phosphorous is ideal. 10-30-20 is preferable. 10% nitrogen, 30% phosphorous and 20% potassium.

if you can't get your hands on these more concentrated fertilizers, then fertilizers with the same ratio, (1:1:1 for veg, and 1:3:2 for flower) will do. you will simply need to increase the amount you feed as appropriate.

a 5-5-5 fertilizer, standard in many garden centers, could have it's dosage multiplied by 4 to equal 20:20:20.

ya dig?

also, it looks like you haven't read the GROWFAQ. do it.
