I thought if the balls were dropped and more round it's male and females/hermies are like oval and the top is looking like a bud I'm not sure though, you have more experience than I do, took one of those pods off and smooshed it and it was soft with a white hair inside of it. And no worries I have two feminized plants growing right now.

Bubblelicious autoflower 5 days from germination... I think she's working on root growth. What do you guys think?

Which is better 20-4 or 18-6 and when should I start it? She's one week old today.

k, I am doing 20-4 from start, I may run it out like that because she is responding excellent to it. oh man....its doing great...gonna have to post a pic, give you something to look forward too, check it........ auto bubblicious wk4.

you haven't started the lighting yet? bro, turn them lights on right when that puppy sticks her head out the dirt. 20-4 I would suggest. good luck
oh, and condolences on the male plant dude.....sad news, you prob already know, but if you don't kill it, which I would, make sure you leave that fucker WAY away from your auto.

I killed it and I ran 24 light switched to 18-6 then back too 24 because I missed a day with the 18-6 so I'm just going with 24 right now until I see her starting to flower then put her under either 20-4 or 18-6 and your plant looks AMAZING! I'll post another picture here in a bit.

get a timer so you wont miss a day in the light schedule, they are cheap.

dude, dirt cheap, you got a goodwill around, they always have em, in electronics section, for like 1.99. that's what I use too, so it is always on the SAME schedule. that is important.
I would not be bouncing around with her time schedule a whole lot either broski, they are creatures of routine, but yr baby looks good man. those leaves look exactly like mine did, yr in for a treat. oh, and thanks for the compliment on my baby, would you believe that that was the first compl;iment I have received on her? I was starting to think it wasn't impressive....but I know better...shes beautiful, and yrs will be too. I gotta get you a updated pic to man, its blown up again, since the last pic.

I was just rereading our thread here, and I wanted to say I decided against the shortryder. I went with the auto blue mystic. check it out if you get a sec, here is a link...check out this guys CFL grow....its a fast growing strain too, but it has a lot more resin production then the shortryder, and I hear the taste and high is fucking phenominal.

I'm using a mixture of cfl's one is...38watts 160watt equivalent 1,800 lumens and the other are 23 watts

Here's my Sweet Black Angel... I think It's a photoperiod because it just said feminized on the packet.

Im running 20/4 also with my autos and its going great
