Custom Bud Blends?

Just wondering if anyone, in one of the legal areas, is producing custom cured bud blends, the way wine producers produce specialized blends. If they're not, it sounds like a great idea to me. Of course, then there would need to be bud "sommeliers"...what would they be called?

Makes a lot of sense. I could see this being a basis to give a little novelty to a new shop opening amongst the myriads already present out in CO. Maybe name the store something clever that references mixing and make it a choose-your-own-strains and blend-it-while-you-watch operation like coldstone creamery.

Are you talking mixing different types of bud together in the same joint? If so I hate that, the worst or harshest flavour just overpowers the rest for me

themedmen.com Enterprising in that someone is actually trying to get paid to teach people how to get into the medical marijuana business. I wonder if they are successful.
Isnt this what oaksterdam rips people off for already?

I'm saying that someone who is an expert mixologist would come up with a blend or blends that would be unique and great. The way winemakers mix grape varieties, or tobacconists mix tobacco blends, or bartenders mix cocktails. Hopefully it would be a case of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.

It's just another one. I would think there are more. It's not a terrible idea, but I don't know the particulars of any of these places and whether they are bogus or not.

The reason its a bad idea is because the market is so crowded people are starting businesses like these one so they can get into the industry, to help people get into the industry...?

I know a couple people that went to oaksterdam and from everything i hear it is bogus. They also seems to teach some funny grow techniques. I had someone aske my why i wasnt defoliating at 7.5 weeks into flower. I was like, because putting a plant in shock less than a week before chop isnt usually a good idea imo... there were a couple other weird/funny things ive heard they teach there ill try to remember the rest.
