Could you go into more detail? Some of what you say doesn't match my experience. I start my seeds in small pots in a greenhouse in January under natural light. Day length at germination is about 9.5 hours. Six weeks later, when the day length is about 11 hours, most plants reveal sex at the sixth node. The increasing day length may slow the sexing process. My M/F ratio is about 35/65. I pollinate and harvest seeds every spring. It is all I can do to maintain fresh seed stock of 40 distinct strains..

I start indoors under 12/12...by the third leaf set they show, proper diet and atmosphere. Think about it like this, on its own it'll show the first month (3-4wks) after flowering cycle kicks in. So starting on 12/12 they still show within that same time frame..(3-4wks) by that time I'm 3 leaf sets and showing...

The second one is a God's Gift bagseed... I am shocked that it actually sprouted, as the seed was tiny and looked underdeveloped. i hope that the plant survives and better yet, i hope that it's a female.

the top plant, which is an OG seedling that survived, is sexually ambiguous at best. im not sure what it really is yet, i guess i have to wait for the sixth node.

but if it is a female i will transplant it into a 15 gal and lst the shit out of it.

FF has been giving me advice since 2008. (i think) so i trust his word over any.

someone said that growing environment also has an effect on seeds and how they turn out; i know it's vague statement, but im sure you know what i mean...

like when you have really dry climates you get more males vs females etc. im not sure if i am correct =P

Hmmm... I sexed indoors in the 80s and 90s. Didn't like having my house always smelling like bud. Since I start my seeds in January, Everything is sexed and vegging by the middle of March, ready for transplanting in April. There are many ways to skin a cat. My methods work well for me. My big problem is getting help with the trimming.

Looking pretty good. That plant will get pretty big..

Get some feminized seeds. Takes the guess work out of it. Its all I use...check out my grow

Its a 50/50 chance that its a female. I've grown 20 plants and only had 4 males, some people get lucky and some dont. It just sucked because I spent the summer watering them and babying them. Only having to cut the males down and toss them away.

Id go buy some female seeds and start them asap. That way your guaranteed to get a female. Why waste a growing season a plant that may be worthless. If you have no choice then keep it going. Any plant is better then nothing...:)

considering that it's from seed, i expect it to be strong....

i topped it while i did my LST and i think i slowed the growth a bit. the lower nodes began to show faster growth after i removed one of the fan leaves to let more light into the canopy
