wow, i love how politics can tear a place apart...my 2 cents...after 9/11 i basically became a fox news junky, waiting for the next terrorism incident, i've always been a staunch supporter of bush, like it or not he's our president and that means something, i try not to get only one point of view on what's going on in the world so i check out other news stations as well, and i've learned alot for being 25 years old. the government is fucked up, the whole world is fucked up, everyone has facts and data that "prove" their side, i'm a republican, and i watched the democratic race a lot when it got down to the wire, i was apalled that democrats created "superdelegates", they created them because they felt the PEOPLE might elect someone who didn't agree with everything they, that reaks of hypocricacy, how can they create something to negate the popular vote.
but as far as iillegal immigration, my main problem is that many illegal immigrants don't pay any TAXES, like american citizens do, i don't think they should not get the say priviledges and services as we do, i just think they should work to be american citizens and pay taxes, if every illegal immigrant paid taxes our healthcare and school systems wouldn't be so poorly underfunded. it was typical of our government to butt heads on problems rather than finding fixes. i definetly agree that the two party system is messed up, that's why we all need to start voting for third parties, i think if they get 5% they qualify for something, you may be throwing your vote away this election and maybe the next two or three, but soon there could be a third party candidate in the white house, he may not be the right man for the job, but at least americans will have more options.
okay, i sad my piece, i know it was long, i always try to keep an open mind about other peoples believes, so please to start railing against me because i support bush, it's my right as an american
