I have 6 plants under a 600W MH...my room is at 75f and 40% humidity. I just started with clones...veg. Is this ideal? Any adjustments? ALSO I have my light about 2ft away the plants. Ok distance?

Thanks for your advice. :leaf:

What kind of clones?
What are you growing in?
I grow in an E N B in my Veg and Hempy to flower.
I am only running 216 watts of T5 HO light next to a 95 watt.
A pic of my 4 tub 16 gallon res DIY ebb n flow in a closet.
Took the doors down for ease of access.

As far as I understand it, vegging plants like higher humidity than that, more like 75% - it's when they are flowering that you want it low, like 45.

ok the 600w will fry your plants at 2ft from top the heat that comes of them is crazy but if you can get a good fan going it mite help. i fryed 4 of my plants when it was the recommended height from the plant.. bullshit!!. your taking 3 ft if not air-cooled but still run a good fan close to it

600w HPS will burn the top off your plants at 2ft if not air-cooled

I have my hps about 1.5'', and my veg is about 1' away from canopy top. too high of lighting causes stretching.

I am using 1x 600w xxl cool tube hoods in veg and 2x 600w big kahuna a/c hoods in flower. i can place my hand on my big kahuna hoods glass and its not too hot to burn my hand even after a few minutes on the glass.

I'm running a 600w with cooling system attached. fan booster attached running at 240 cfm. The room has been staying at a consistent 75 degrees.

The glass is only hot in the middle for me...not super hot I can have my hand on glass for a bit.. Should I lower the light? Its currently at 2ft away from plants.

like what was said above, use the back of your hand method fro determining how high or low to place your lights.

I use a humidifier in my clone room to raise r/h levels.

When the light is off should my oscillating fan or intake fan be running? or everything off?
