the idea is, cheney had a vested interest in seeing halliburton do well (his stock options qualify)
this is the very reason why Republican Rome's senators were not permitted to hold any direct business interests.
they either had to divest of their business interests or put them in what we would call today, a Blind Trust, so that there would be not even the appearance of impropriety or influence.

Dude I showed he sold his stock well into 2005. He exercised his stock option...which means he bought stock and turned around and sold it. He had stock options that expired in 2007 , but he exercised his stock options at a nice profit in 2005. You can't exercise your stock option with out buying /and or selling stock. I take it you don't have any stock. If he had call option he would be buying shares at a fix price...if he had "put"option he is selling shares...either way he is dealing with shares/stocks...dude you not winning on this. only showing how clueless you are.
