If you want science then you should lean toward bml or another reputable brand that informs you of moles and light wave rates. If all they are advertising is diode size and watts or even worse lumens, then your probably buying chinese

Correct, problem is we will NEVER find the perfect light spectral distribution for all cannabis strains with monochromatic leds. So very high lumen per watt (250+) all "white" led/cobs/smds are the future IMO; AND it's easier to work/diagnose issues under it.

no problem so the grow max won't veg.? I'm looking for one lamp from seed to flower.. ill check out journals this evening thank you

Did you not see my thread?

Using a 600 with spectrums I selected to be used for both veg and flower

I would only make minor spectrum changes

Now ~ 10 days from harvest

Lots of weekly pic updates

I was going to tell you to contact Petflora, knows his shit and has a BML light that can do both. Pet was working with Nick from BML about a light that could do both. Honestly, look at the light that mimics the sun, Nick will make a SYDER out of any spectrum. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, if I don't know it, Pet will lol

I have at least a month to decide on new lighting.. longer i wait the bigger budget i get...
i like the fact the bml is adjustable and pivots.
if it can grow anything and have enough penetration to grow large buds and tomatoes cucumbers I'm in..
in my case i need lamps for all areas i need and like one lamp seed to flower.. its less hassle that way..
Once i start seeing flowers on my plant ill be convinced that the par plasma emitter works and may buy 2-3 more. if it doesn't work then back to testing..

I have a veg and flower rooms so I run a perpetual grow and the Grow Max fitted my needs. Sounds like your doing your research, I looked at LEDS for about 2 months everyday for hours after I came home from work. I like that universities and other organizations use BML's lights for their horticulture experiments/research, even though its not cannabis, I like the fact that other larger organizations put faith in them. I also like the fact that you can look up Nick from BML on Linked In, you can see his entire resume and previous work history, which is all lighting (He used to be vp at illumitex, another badass led company)

Oh and last thing, the best part, is if do the extra homework and look up the diff light spectrums, you can customize and create your own spyder with your own ideas, really like DIY except your not doing the labor
