Believe it or not, I read some of this. I am probably committing some sort of cardinal sin. When I first started again (2013), I was sitting my water out thinking of back in the day when chlorine would evaporate away. My locality uses chloramine which does NOT evaporate. I have been using Am-Quel in my water. I run 5 gallons into a water cooler, treat it, then put that into gallon jugs with whatever nutrient mix. It adds salt, but it's got to be low. My question would be, is this salt in the water going to be "amplified" trying to do that with hydro? Soaking in it is different than having the soil mix as a buffer, I know. It's 75 PPM out of the tap, so it's pretty good for tap water. After the Am-Quel, it's just under 100 PPM, 6.91 PH. You didn't think I was checking, did ya, Dawg? Some people say, they would just run with the chloramine as it's a detergent of sorts. I don't trust it. What do you think?Damn What A Conversation.I Have To Get Caught Back Up.Anyho Brother GreatBranch Heres Some Reading For Ya.
