Rant about jobs and weed

ive been pissed off today after finding out stuff in our circle of friends and its annoyed me so much that i just have to go off on one.

ok so one of my 'friends' didnt have a job until he was 17. he then quit for a stupid reason after 2 weeks. he didnt have another job or do anything what so ever for 3 years till he was 20. in fact i dont think he did anything till he was 21.

every1 was telling him to get a job. i personally dont see how any1 can not have a job and have no money. anyway he managed do sponge weed,beer,cigs, just about anything he could for those years and every1 just got pissed off with him.

his excuse was that there was no job. all the Polish have taken them. first of all id like to say that, yeah, the fucking polish basterds do take most of our jobs but i guarantee its not impossible to find a job. infact within those years he didnt have a job, i had 3 or 4 from contracting. and at one point when i was 18, i had 3 jobs on the go.

then he got a crappy job on stupid hours. and now he has quit after about 2 months. first of all wtf. secondly, he lives with his nan. an old woman, probably not working, or workin as much and she pays for EVERYTHING for him. have some fuckin respect m8. get a job an give ur nan some money for bills.

now 2nd person im gonna rant about is close friend. ive had a few decent jobs with a friend, and his gf has hardly never worked. shes had more jobs on her CV than a prostitute has had diseases. stick to a fuckin job bitch!

and she hasnt got any other plans on working. so, my male friend of the couple works his ass off, like me at a decent job, well paid etc whilst his gf sits on her ass at home an does fuck all except clean. now wtf, it doesnt take all week to clean a house.

it could be different, i work in a decent engineering job, quite a good wage etc. my gf is at home atm on leave because she is pregnant. i dont mind that, she cant work atm. but other ppl who are just lazy asses cant even do a little bit to help people they care about out.

god, it frustrates me so much.

and last thing about weed. why the fuck is it impossible to get a decent bag round near me?! no1 has got any, and if they have it sucks ass.

i think i just need a nice big smoke, with nice gear.

If you simply not wanting to work is the reason for you not having a job, you are a fucking lazy waste of space.

No one 'Wants to work', its something we all have to do if we want to SUPPORT OURSELVES and don't want to be a LEECH ON SOCIETY.

You'd be better off maybe, how about all us hard working TAX PAYERS funding it?

If you really don't have a job because you're 'better off on benefits' then I personally think you are the scum of the earth.

I agree with you 100%. My ex-wife was that way when we were married and she still is today. She is 38 and she lives in her moms house. She does not want to work, she dates anyone that appears will be a sugar daddy to her and take care of her. She works now, but only because if she doesn't she will go to jail. Its not fair to us working citizens and it sucks but I feel the welfare and government aide should be drastically changed. No government aid for people that do not work. There is a big difference in not able to work and not wanting to work. It really makes my skin crawl when I drive by the local welfare office and $80,000 dollar cars in the parking lot and the person has 10 kids. Most people are capable of working, but there are exceptions to every rule. I believe in survival of the fittest and if you are not fit, you are not going to survive. Lets let nature take care of some of our problems in this world.

But why should someone work if they can get benefits which will give them more than a job would AND they don't have to work for it.

I'm speaking from a U.K standpoint, i don't know about Americas benefit system.

well.... i wasnt talking about my friends claiming benefits. it wasnt about that. they arnt claiming (id go mad if they was). its just the fact that they can 'hang around' and not help their partner/nan/mum or whatever.

but since we are talking about benefits then yes, its a disgusting. i dont know about any1 else or any other countries but im in a higher standard tax bracket which basicly means, the more YOU earn, the more you get taxed which is stupid. then again, tax is.

but what bothers me about benefits is that people dont want to work, yet still get money! i dont mind my tax going on, hospitals / police / fire / road services etc etc.

its when ppl take the piss like my 1st friend (if he was claiming).

and i agree with every that says that people are just lazy. why should we all have to work?

from a UK point of view, the Polish are coming over here in thousands and taking jobs bcoz

A) ppl dont wanna 'fight' for a job here.
B) ppl dont want to work here
C) ppl cant be botherd to get off there arse and work.

and it pisses me off when im walking down the street or driving along in my car and i see polish people and cars etc.

EDIT: oh and i bet every1 doesnt want to work. its the fact that we need to work. maybe im being abit traditional here and old fashioned but, would we not be doing our job as males and providing for yourself / family / living arrangements.

time to get off ur ass kids and realise the real world. i maybe young but have experience.

chavs that sit on their arse all day and think sponging will get them somewhere. time to make it on your own.

1 last word, id be sick of sponging off ppl and would start to think "im tired of this. time to make it on my own instead of hand outs"

Ok, then lets rephrase this then. Nobody 'wants' to work; we agree on that. If you refuse to work, or wont get your ass up off the couch to go find a job, then you are a lazy piece of shit. Hows that?

How old are you man? You have that childish attitude of gimme gimme gimme gimme. Where do you think the money comes from to give to the lazy asses that refuse to work? It comes from every one that does work. Why should anyone be aloud to sit on their ass, make babies, stay addicted to drugs, etc for free. I dont enjoy knowing that is where my taxes are going.

Look at it this way. You get your paycheck and pay all your bills and you think that what ever is left is yours to keep. But, there is a knock at the door and you are informed that there is a hungry homeless person down the street and the person at the door tells you must give 25% of your earnings to help this homeless person buy food and a place to live. That would suck wouldn't it. It can be hard concept for some to grasp. Most of this money is taken from our paychecks before we see the cash. So in theory you cant miss what you never had. But if you had cash in hand and then the government agencies held their hand out for their share, I think you would feel the shock of it a little more.

Sounds like UK is fucked up as bad as the US then.

yer im only 21. from 17 - 19 i was in college, smoking it up. i still had 2 jobs in college.

maybe it was the way i was raised. not been beaten an told to get a job by parents. i jsut did it on my own as soon as i was able to work - 16.

and yes, the UK is fucked up. if u lived here, especially where i do then ud see how fucked up this country is bcoz of the goverment.

i dont know if ppl have seen the jokes goin round about the country....

Mate, I'm in the UK aswell and I've not been without a job since I was 13 (paper round) apart from a year when I was studying at uni.

I currently work a job I HATE so that I can pay rent/food/smoke/recreation without SPONGING OFF SOCIETY.

I pay about the same ammount in TAX as your average unemployed person recieves in benefits, more actually.

Wanting to work has nothing to do with it, working is a necessity for anyone who is able and morally sound.

do what you enjoy or something.. if u work like u hate ur job. your never going to really be anything more then the position your at. love your job they will notice how u perform
and maybe u'll get a raise better position. im a waiter at johnny rockets. i average 500$ a week at 3.45 and hours. cause i make about 80$- 120$ every shift i work just in tips.. i love my job. did 110% and not only do i make more money. i was promoted to floor supervisor now gettting paid 8.75$ an hour plus tips. lol. getting 600$ checks and 500$ a week in tips. im happy.

i dont see how anyone has the patience to NOT work. i quit my job like a month ago to go back to school. i was gonna take a longer break but its too much.. sittiin around not doin shit is a waste of life. its boring as can be.. i have been doin odd jobs with my neighbor just to work. i want to work. it makes life less monotonous.
