what the heck is growing beside my plant?

Hey, this is my first time growing. I have a small seedling plant about a week after germination. Just yesterday a green shoot-like thing started to grow beside my plant. Just wondering if anyone knows what this is?
It was sitting outside for a day before I got my light set up...could it be grass? Or another stem? I don't know.
I was also wondering why the sucker leaves are turned up so much.
Any input would be much appreciated.

Hmm…. Blade of grass maybe?
Looks like your growing outside so anything could have blown in there.
Its too green to be a root so I'd say lightly/ carefully dig it up and then get rid of it, you don't want anything taking away from you plant.
Give us an update when you figure it out.

Could be anything, "all we are is dust in the wind"...pluck it and carry on soldier !!!!

Pluck it when it's young so a root system does not develop , as plucking then only makes a mess disturbing your plants roots. And many weed will grow back from the roots , so you will be pulling weeds every other week

Its a weed from your garden. Dont use soil out of the back garden, the seedling doesn't look healthy it hates the crap dirt its in.

It isn't soil from the garden. It was just outside for a day while I was setting a light up.
