So the 'tude is mixin' it up and trying out some new promo techniques. Okay, I'll bite...Apparently they will be having a different promo once a week, for the next ten weeks. The catch is, the promo lasts for ONE HOUR ONLY, on Wednesday, Noon, Attitude time(4AM Pacific time, ugh!)

So the first promo came and went...A thread was made, but this one covers a broader range. Anywho, the first promo was on...

Wednesday, June 18th: 3 Red Purps from Female Seeds

Next one is coming up in 48 hours, 40 minutes...

Wednesday, June 25th: 20% off Entire Order...

I passed on the first promo, but 20% off isn't bad. I figure it's essentially an extra 10% off the normal promo code, so covers shipping on a $200 order and then some...

Anyway, promo code is HH20off...enter that shit at 4AM Pacific Time on the 25th, and get 20% off

Not really a great deal.. Considering a monthly promo is ten days away and an extra ten percent off equates to about ten fifteen bucks instead of at least three freebies with the normal ten percent off if you wait for the promo..

Depends on what you are after. For instance, I've been interested in Ace gear and there is a promo for Bangi (vigorous btw from bean) or if you want Bodhi, ya get a free 5 beans as well. Another example is Holy Smokes or Gooeybreeder. So it really depends. To be honest the monthly promos haven't been very tempting from my point of view

Yeah, monthly promos have been a letdown...I mean, 4 free Barneys Farms seeds? I bought during that promo, but woulda gladly taken an extra 25 off my order instead of getting 4 beans I'm reluctant to run.

Bought Bodhi gear, got 2 free packs of Synergy...Temped to buy more Bodhi gear during this promo.

extra ten percent equates to an extra ten percent off...lol...Depends on what you spend. I feel it's not a terrible deal if you're ordering over 200 dollars worth of seeds. Then it covers stealth shipping PLUS an extra ten bucks off the order...So essentially, a 200 dollar order ships free for 190 dollars when you use the promo code.

Yea I wouldn't waste my time again on Barneys. Waste of my time with subpar results (looking at you Vanilla Kush, don't know how your sorry ass won a cup...)
Yeah, my big experience with them was Dr Grinspoon, which really is a pure sativa(it's also a garbage sativa, MAYBE good for breeding), and then I know someone who did a Tangerine Dream run outdoor last year, and wound up with a bunch of trashy, seedy bud from them herming out. Not that the smoke woulda been that good anyway.

Anyone know what cause that 30% 40% hermie ratio seeds.??

I mean Barney had problem breeding or what ? to much demand in less time because he won several Cannabis Cup since 2009 could be the awnser.

I've heard good things about GGG lately, and I'm trying 3 Bodhi strains for the first time right now(just popped my beans)...But the GGG Goden Goat has me intrigued, and I wanna pick up Bodhi's Goji OG and Tranquil Elephantizer

That depends on how much you care about their freebies, which seem mostly uninteresting most of the time. I will say I was pleased to get a CBD Shark Shock from Dinafem as a freebie my most recent order as I have no CBD lines currently.

Yeah, this last promo with the Barneys gear was disappointing...Hell, I'm more likely to run the Regular UFO's Sage n Sour and GSC. Never ran any CC gear, but hear mixed reviews from awesome to horror stories, and everything in between...And the Sage n Sour seems to get decent reviews all around, even though the THSeeds gear I ran in the past(including SAGE) was rather underwhelming.

That being said, they'll probably just sit with all the other unwanted beans till I find someone to give them to.

I think I'd avoid Cali Connection's GSC based on what I've read and heard. I'd probably give Sage n Sour a go if I had a huge garden though it would be down the list somewhat on stuff I want to try.

I'm not excited by any THSeeds gear after running like 6 strains by them in 2011. Really, I just wanna run the beans I ordered...haha...Freebies are good to give away or trade to people who actualy want them.

I wish we could have a place to trade beans here on RIU, but you know, against the rules and whatnot.

My rule of thumb is to avoid all S1 of clone only strains (unless there is consistency in its pedigree). Seems like undesirable traits become more apparent and finding that one which matches the original is hard. I will give props to RP as the OGK and OG18 beans I ran were very similar

So who are some of your guys' top breeder selections? I've heard a lot of good stuff about Bodhi, so I'm giving his gear a go with Mothers Milk, Solos Stash, and Synergy...Thinking about ordering the Goji and TE. Also giving Hazeman a try with a couple strains, one of which is a Rocky Mountain High cross that I just popped.

Also have a pack of GGG's Good Ideas Mixed Gems in my cart...Figure that would be a good trial to see whether or not I can get into their gear, since it's a random mix. (And pretty cheap)

I'm a Bodhi fan, you may not find exactly what you are looking for, but it certainly won't end up in the hash pile (unless that's your thing). Heard and seen great things of GGG, and I've been thinking of Hazeman, yet I want to see more grows before I pull the trigger. Right now the new breeders I'm trying are Ace, Sensi, some home growers version of grape stomper, and some seedsman freebies m
