Why are my pistols doing this ? Im in week 5 12/12 with 3 week veg time.
im not sure of the dimensions but its a six sided box no more than 21 inches from either side. Same heiggt id say but not sure. 1 42w 2700k cfl 1 12w LED bulb 2700k 2 13w 2700k cfl and a 23w4100k cfl

The brown hairs. I didnt think they'd die so fast

you are coming to the end of your flower cycle, the hairs will start turning brown more and more and start receding back into the bud, perfectly normal with them browning as much as they are i would say you have another 2 or 3 weeks left before harvest

how many actual watts of cfl are you using (not equivalent watts), and it might be too late to go back

Well up until recently (5-6 days ago) I was running 2 23 w 2700k 1 23w 4100k cfl and 3 12.5w led bulbs. Now im using 1 42w cfl 1 12.5w led 2 13w cfl andthe 23w 4100k cfl .

yeah with that little of light i would say your about at your max weight, maybe add back in the 2 other led nix the 4100k and put the 2 2700k back in might get a little extra

It needs to be elaborated that the flowering happens in cycles and the hairs turn brown at the end of each of those cycles. Not that you are nearing time to crop, increasing light is always good as long as you keep the temp down. A rule of thumb is a plant needs twice as much light when it flowers then when it vegged. Are you meeting that rule?

2 of the 23w cfl broke. I took the y splitter out to put in the 42w cfl. Would the 12.5w led be better than 13w cfl? I could go get morecfl but only if its almost for certain to gain yeild this late. I want a 68w cfl but its ffixing huge so idk about allla daat

is it a white led or a spot grow led? if its a spot grow led than the led would be much much better than the 13w cfl as it has a lot more usable light

dude just reading thru ur post the amount of money u just spent lol i have 150w 250w 400 w and 600w on ebay starting from 30 bucks for the 150 w with buld cords and shades

Rob I got all my light besides the 42w for free and the 42 was 11$ so if I could get a hps/my setup for 11$ id be all ears.
