clumpy soil with little perlite

Planted 3 seeds in clumpy, hardly no perilite soil bought locally to my area (no choice since I am living somewhere that has nothing better). There is humus, very little fert in it which is good, turf, nitrogen, phosphorus. It is rather heavy.

I am planting 3 more tomorrow in the same soil but this time I am using my hands more to break the soil into coarser grinds which stupidly I did not do the first time (learning). I am thinking to just toss the first 3 and use these 3 instead. I have 3 ballasts with a 150w mh in each and will switch to hps 150 in flower, so every 2 get 75w each. Do you think I should have 6 planted and just see which ones make it or is that a waste of the energy of the light and just have 3 that have coarser soil?

I looked and cannot get perilite around me and is too late to order it.

Seeds are good quality if this matters, c99, laughing buddha, caseys widow.

Can MJ grow in soil of this nature or will it just not flush properly and form shit roots?

I will use fox farms tiger bloom in veg and big bloom nutes in flower to hopefully make this shit soil spring something worth smoking.

Do you guys think this will work?

I tried to get away with shitty soil without perlite and my plants just weren't growing (well they got maybe 2 or 3 nodes tall, then stopped). I lost 3 weeks of veg because of that. Don't even put a seed in a bad soil, it's just a waste of time.

Vermiculite, coco coir, expanded clay. Placing a plenum at the bottom of your container. Old, robust root balls will help temporarily if mixed into the soil. Just a few other things to aide in drainage. :peace:

haha ummm if only I could get those things. I live in a Country that has nothing but shit soil maybe to keep the citizens from growing this.

How to go about using the lime, where to get it?

I cannot get anything in my area. I tried to order ff ocean forest but the cost for shipping a 1.5 cubic feet bag is $200 so I declined.

Honestly all the fancy grow ingredients seem to be so easy to get in the West, but I can't get any of it here. I am trapped in a weedless world trying to grow with heavy perliteless soil.

I at least was able to order FF tiger bloom and big bloom
