since my divorce, i've leased 7 apartments/homes before purchasing my current home..i've just leased another to equal 8..there's no language i can find.

Um yeah... Contracts are not uniform. I have made my tenants sign a no-drug use policy addendum for years.

The last guy left his bong picker on a shelf with obvious signs there was a bong there as well. No worries. I dont care if they use drugs on the property I just want the clause in case they do something totally stupid for liability purposes.

pro tip, you wannabe landlord: violating a lease agreement is a civil matter, not a criminal one. the cops do not pick you up in the street for violating a lease agreement. they do, however, pick you up for growing cannabis.
