OK, this is not really related to this grow, but I don't want to threadjack someone else to bitch and complain. I really wanted to try the Money Maker strain from Greenhouse seeds. 1 seed didn't germinate, which I understand is the breaks...moderately disappointed. Then yesterday, my first true hermie from the same strain. In the trash it goes. AND...I have two clones from the same plant that I was getting ready to move into flowering. So, lost 3 in one day. Did a little search on Money Maker on the internet...many of them go hermaphrodite. If any of you run it, I would recommend a back-up plan if you are on a tight schedule. I had 2 White Widow x Big Bud seedlings that I was getting ready to give away - - now, plan B

I guess we aren't LGBTH friendly... LGBT's are ok, but those H's really are the pits! :cuss:
Good advice from your experience to avoid that Money Maker stuff.

I have regained a little lost control. My past two runs (to include my main-lined plants) were way overcrowded. I really screwed myself. Yield sucked. Was still awesome, though...lol. Live and learn. Olivia (Obsession, back right, week 5), Natalie (Northern Lights x Skunk, front shorty, week 4), and Patty (Power Flower, back left, week 4)

I will be running a two hempy bucket SCROG under my SGS-160, and taking my virgin leap into hydro after this tent is clear. Look out for Lafonda (LSD) - four clones in a bubbleponics system coming in late July. I will post a link as I am gathering things together, as I will need help from most of you reading this anyway

They all look good to me!

Do you have a separate tent for flowering, one for vegging and one for your mother plant?

Looking forward to seeing Lafonda in her bubble bath. :hump:

These are the ones that I DIDN'T overcrowd. That's the regained control :eyesmoke: . I have two 32"x32"x60" tents that I use primarily for flowering. I feed them from the Phototron where things are vegging. I stagger them, so I have a tent finishing about every 30-45 days. I am both excited and nervous about the bubbleponics thing, though I have found that having the two tents allows me to try some things without the risk of NO harvest.

Whoa, dude! Where ya been? I thought you killed yourself doing flooring. ;)

Can't complain about the harvest too much. It's still getting me through to the next one, and then some. Correct...RO = Reverse Osmosis.

Happy Friday evening, folks! In the words of Dennis Leary, "weed leads to carpentry"...
Got my cart done, so I can ease it on in and out of the tent, rotate it around at will, etc. It is a necessity, since I can only access my tents from one side. I didn't even lose any fingers.:hump:

That's one gorgeous photo... especially at full size. Pretty plant!
Thanks, Dave! I get lucky once in a while with the photos. Got a little fox tailing going on, but it's still pretty. This was one under the SGS-160, but was WAY too close - hence the fox tailing. It only happened on this bud which was the closest, but it was also the closest one I could get to with the camera.

I like that cart! Now I know what you've been working on lately... It looks great!

You can do a lot with some PVC and a cordless drill. :hump: I see you got carpeting in the room. Not easy for wheelchairs or caster wheels to roll over. My house has 100% tile flooring, which is nice & cool in the summer and super easy to roll over. And spills are easy to clean up. There are a couple small downsides, but I like it.

How many shells does your shotgun hold?

The Greatbranch Home Security System holds 7.
I knew I was going to catch hell about the carpet. It's bad in so many ways, but the "laminate express" hasn't made its way in here yet. I've got 2 rooms and the hallway done. There's also about a thousand pound desk sitting on the other side of the room (and on that carpet) that I moved in when I bought the house and prior to any back trouble. It will be here when I'm long gone probably...lol. It's going to have to come out in pieces. I really wish I could tile this whole room and put a drain in the floor! Maybe, I will do that when the hobby takes over the whole room. I'm a third of the way there! It's not a high pile carpet, so it's not horrible. The little casters I got roll pretty good on it. I'm not in a chair YET, but give me time, Dave. I HAVE mentioned to you folks that I am power tool impaired, right? Home improvements are NOT my strength. I'm a cooking fool, but if you need something fixed, you better call somebody! I need to get CC2012 over here to do my floors - he's a pro at it by now, but a plane ticket might cost me more than paying someone locally. Besides, I bet he feels the same way I do about redoing floors at this point!

Very nice security system! I bet it's fun to practice with!
I have trouble holding up a rifle, but I have 2 pistols that I like to shoot at a target range. I shot a friend's AK-47 once and got us kicked out of the range because I fired a 15-round burst as fast as I could. Every shot was on target, but it scares the neighbors to hear that. A shotgun is plenty for home defense, though, unless you need to fight off a hoard of zombies. :o

Hey, as long as the casters roll ok, no worries about the carpet. That was my only concern. Laminate would probably be best I think, but with that heavy desk sitting on the carpet you'd probably need to pay someone to install it. Better to buy more growing equipment instead, right? :weed:

My biggest concern about the carpet is mites. I have a healthy paranoia that keeps things in check, so maybe having it always be a concern is a blessing in disguise. Keeps me from getting complacent, which is how MOST people get them.

Without getting into it, I am prepared for an escalating scale of aggression. If I can make one recommendation for the handguns around the house, it's frangible ammunition if it is available to you. Keeps things from penetrating too much and cuts down the risk of collateral damage. The Air Marshals use them to keep from depressurizing the cabins. This is all theoretical by the way :bigjoint: And before THAT conversation starts, remember that we are talking about a couple people who CAN'T run away :wall:

I heard that birdshot in a shotgun is good for avoiding collateral damage, too. But I've never seen that fragmenting ammo that police use for sale anywhere. I have some hollow points for self defense. But I'm really a big fan of pepper spray nowadays. It doesn't kill anybody and if someone takes it from me, they can't kill me with it. I just shoot guns for fun now. But I support your use of a shotgun for home protection. Just the sound of the pump action is enough to scare 90% of people away.

I don't know that I am going journal this one, because I am going to do one when I SCROG with the bubbleponics system coming up. I may yell if I have SCROG questions here. I actually made two of these carts while I was risking finger injury. Going to give the SCROG thing a trial run with a couple 3 gallon hempy buckets and the SGS-160 - White Widow x Big Bud - both have been topped once already and training outward a bit.
