But see, Vi, here's the other thing. Let's say we did things Med's way. Then the poor people would have money. But, there will still ALWAYS be poor people, and now the rich would join the poor. So, then that would mean that the rich would have to get that money back because now they're poor, and the poor would have to give the money up because now they're rich. Round and round and round it goes, where it lands, nobody knows! Yes I do. Just pin the tail on the donkey.

What is it about my diet which frightens you so? What it is about my compassion for innocent life, my desire for a clean environment, my desire to eat murder-free food, which threatens you so terribly? Med has been exhibiting relatively good behavior lately. I applaud him for his most recent posts. Because of that, I believe I understand him just a little better and in return, he may understand me a little better. That is the true nature of free and open dialogue. I applaud your honesty in the post that led up to this. Its an honesty that is seldom revealed by statists, as that revelation exposes the true nature of their intent, which is the subjugation of the individual, sacrificed to the collective ... or "The Greater Good."
By what insanity do you call the basis for liberty a "cesspool?"

I feel that my style of living could be had by every individual on earth if the wealth was re-distributed. Hey, I'd even give up my vaunted HotRod for equality.

I think I'm on to something. re-distribution of wealth. As all you righties say anyway, give it a couple a years and it would all be back in the same hands anyway, so why not let the poor have a couple a good years? Who knows?
