Dumb question of the day !!!!! ????

So I'm curious . Has anyone wondered what their thc potency on their harvest is ? Can you get it tested ? Is there a place you can send it in and pay a fee and see the results ????. Obviously you know your producing high quality and may not care the potency number cause it gets us "high as kite " . I know it doesn't matter because the buds that a lot of us produce are very nice and potent . So back to my dumb question . Have you ever had a lab test your crop . Does one exist for people and not just dispensarys ? A little feedback would be appreciated . Thanks

thanks for the smart ass remark . And some breeders will tell your dumb ass what you want to hear . Obviously I wasn't looking for stupidity but you weren't skipped in your generation. I know what the breeders say . I know what it can or will be around I'm curious has anyone ever checked ? Smh . Some people kids !!!

I dunno, but I bet those numbers would vary from grower to grower. One may think the same strains should produce similar results but again, I imagine the growers skill and his environment will play the ultimate deciding role in the finished product.
And I would think exactly when a strain is chopped would also have a big part in the end result.
Lots of variables here until its kinda like snowflakes. No two are exactly the same.

Exactly . I know what you mean . But I think it'd be cool to know . Not for bragging rights but knowledge . You run the same strain and maybe got better results changing maybe some things . That's why I'm curious . I'd like to know and wouldn't mind paying a lab that can test a gram or two .

Some don't work with individuals/hobbyists but surely some do. A while back there was a thread about how a state (or was it canada?) wanted to restrict testing to dispensary suppliers etc only which implies there are labs that do test for small growers.

I know one in Amsterdam but that's probably of no help to you.

Yea I'm in the USA . Preferably I wouldn't want to send overseas . But canada wouldn't be so bad. I'd like to know where I can get it done . Whose reliable and post online .

not every plant will produce the same amount of thc,its how its grown the nutes it receives and the light levels so each plant will be diff levels,never take notice of what the seed breeders are telling ya,the plant they have tested my read 26.2 % but another in the same room same strain may read 18.8 yea get what im saying not even clones will produce the same thc levels because some get more light some go over the picking time some are under,I know this for a fact because i have had the same strain tested more than once of the same mother reading all ways come bk round about 24% but i have had it come back at 18

Thanks tyke, to be honest I just want to know how I did. I realize that everything will be different.As an experienced grower I appreciate the advice . I'd like to kill the curiosity In my mind. Simple as that . Can anyone help with a good testing center in the US ?

Thc breeder lighten up.sorry for my flippant remark ! I just get a bit pissed when some seed company's do BS (it's what advertising does ,) some company's swear every:bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint: pip they sell is the super strong super YEILDS n from germ to harvest takes 6 weeks.you may think I'm a dumbass but I just write what I think ,and stay true to myself pls look at the conversation called CAN YOU GROW 100% Sativa in the uk summers! I'm older than you imply and I know how to grow,but there's no shame in asking my peers. Peace:bigjoint:
