moving sucks

Just got off work, been working massive OT because I'm moving soon.

i'm sitting here relaxing with some strawberry alien diesel and I'm frustrated.

We've been planning a move for months ( my bf and I)-from here on out he is known as the ex.
Without getting into the personal crap that no one wants to hear, I'm now trying to find a place for me, 2 cats and my plants, I've already paid my rent in our place for July, and I need the money to secure a new place in July, paying rent twice sucks so much.. which is why I've been working 10 hour days and 4 hours of OT after that for days.

I work at home so it needs to be somewhere people are not loud and obnoxious and I'm a hermit, so I don't socialize a lot, so it needs to be near stores etc , laundry hook ups. It's just been frustrating finding a place that works, on the budget I have.

I feel like posting a big ad on CL saying I will grow your plants for an apartment LOL, but I know that would get flagged, or I'd get losers with no real interest in my situation or me. ( don't take that comment seriously - it's just me musing on what ifs)
I know I'll find something but it's just a time crunch, because someone held up the move until the last place we wanted was rented.
I just wanted to vent to my pals here that can sorta understand my situation, thanks for listening!

Well if it makes you feel any better I might be moving into a tent on skid row if shit doesn't start changing soon. Luckily though everything I own I can throw into a duffle bag so need for a truck or anything.

In all seriousness (somewhat more serious anyway), I suggest just keeping your eyes open. Been walking around the neighborhood where I live and there's plenty of cheap retail available that's either rent to own or buy outright. Don't just hop on the first place you look because they're might be unforeseen problems, and make sure that you get a good scope of the neighborhood you're plan to move to.

Also a quick tip, if you find somewhere with potential, call and order a pizza and have it delivered to that address. If they outright refuse, or refuse to deliver after dark, you might want to keep looking.

You guys are so helpful and funny and made me laugh first thing, so thanks very much!
I found a place that I wanted but it had a rental pending on it already we waited to long. I checked with the guy last night
and seems the rental didn't happen after all. So I'm going to work with him to see
if I can manage to pay for it over a couple weeks, normally I wouldn't have to do that but I already paid rent for july
where I am now.
I'm so wary of room mates, because I'm a hermit , I really am.
And I work from home, invariably room mates cause me problems because noise when I am at work can get
me fired.
my days consist of - getting up getting baked, reading RIU forums, maybe getting dressed, depending on how long
I have b4 work, then I roll over to my work comp and solve other people's problems for 10-14 hours.
I get baked at lunch, or I hurt and have nausea so bad I can't function. Then when I get off work, I roll over to
my personal desk and play titanfall or rift or something and then hit the hay and get up and do it all over again.

Thanks you guys for all of the support,@iamnobody I hope you find somewhere soon,or things work out for you how you would like them to.

@Smokebomb thanks, for the interest, that means a lot. I'm just not room mate material as you can see.I hope you find someone that's just right though!

and finally @ChingOwn the farting kid bubble pic omg. I laughed! that's some funny shit. thanks for that!

love you all for being so supportive, sometimes just talking about a problem and having someone to share it with
makes it bearable. gotta get to work, talk later! :bigjoint:bongsmilie:weed:

Im not that old but ive most likely moved gaffs more than most people have. Ive lived in 5 different countries in europe and i can confidently say id chose enduring ridiculous amounts of physical pain over having to move from where i am now. I have lived in at least 15 different places . My last couple of years in the UK i was so paranoid i used to move flats every 2 or 3 months.
Best of luck and find a definite place

Yess (can I call you Yess?) That sucks! I'm confuses tho. you said you had a boyfriend. But then you said he's history. But then you said "we" So are you having to move by yourself? I'm guessing so. I think you're doing the right thing by staying by yourself and waiting for just the right place.
just be patient I know it's hard . moving is such a disruption but tell me how do you solve other peoples problems on computer whilebaked??

I couldn't do anything using brain activity when smoking. LOL. you can totally vent here we,ll help you out. Hugs

Well I'm in pain or nauseous most of my day if I'm not medicating and a lot of people that have a lot of pain will tell you the high is not really
that intense, you just feel less pain, at least that is how it is for me,regardless of the strain.
I've taken tests at work and in class and passed with 100% accuracy, if I had any issues I wouldn't be employed right now. And I do have a BF but he's the issue
and it's just not getting better so I'm moving on with my life, that's the crap I didn't get into because I didn't want to make it a sob story post.
Just a vent and talk to friends post.
And it's not really that hard to fix someone's cell phone or correct an over bill charge, regardless of being medicated or not . I never get totally wasted
I kind of envy people that do. It helps me cope with my fibro and I can walk without feeling like I'm going to toss, but I don't get stoned.
At night I use strains that helps me sleep like grape ape or something. And i'm not up on current terms so I have no Idea what Yess means. LOL sorry.

As a side note, they have had me on reglan and other stuff for my nausea and lyrica etc for the fibro and I was too sick to work from them. MMJ solved that and now I'm not only off of disability I have 2 jobs, and full benefits. It's not easy but I like feeling that sense of accomplishment.
And thanks for the words of encouragement. I've never really been that active on forums before. more of a lurker and a watcher. But I've met some really nice people here. so I decided to share my own crap too.

I had a friend stay the summer with me and thats all we did

Make moonshine, get shit faced and play left for dead and call of duty

And this ain't just any tent its a TWO person tent
