I heard this song on the radio yesterday & I had to pull over........this takes me directly back to Vietnam......it was like a time machine...shocked me. I was having flashbacks & everything....Deep Purple did an amazing job of capturing the sound & feeling of a firefight......if you ever wanted to know what being in a jungle firefight feels/sounds like, get stoned & turn this up, & imagine walking thru the jungle in Vietnam....I couldn't describe it any better....

A soldier in the field can write a letter home on a piece of cardboard, address it, & the Army will deliver it, no postage necessary..........

That song was recorded 45 years ago. I first heard it in Vietnam...I just can't believe this guy wasn't a combat veteran. Even the inflections of his screams are what you feel during a firefight. The noise is coming from everywhere, is deafening, but you can still hear that voice inside....

Meanwhile back on the farm, they have had already had 1 flyover by the Sherriff Helicopter, counting plants.......
The plants are a lot happier after a layer of straw to help keep the soil cool. The sun was heating the soil & slowing growth. There has been a marked improvement in growth & the leaves are filling in & getting larger. The plants should explode in the coming weeks & fill the cages...:weed:

Shitty to hear about the flyover man. I've had a couple also, that's why I decided my one plant that died (Tahoe OG) was a sign to stay at my limit. No reason to push it by 1 damn plant.
Your garden is looking killer tho, the GH seems to be filling out nicely. How many 200's you guys rocking? 24?

Yes. The Sherriff choppers are a common sight up here. The plan for next year may include a second greenhouse......

I was tired of wading thru mud & dodging booby traps, so the last 5 months of my tour I volunteered to be a door gunner on a Huey...... but was rejected because I was a medic. The life expectancy of a door gunner in Vietnam was 6 months, I thought I had it figured out.....:D
