Hey Worm,

I looked them up online...I use "Super Bat Tea starter" from
"The Guano Company". It has a nice blend of stuff.

http://www.amazon.com/Super-Bat-GUST02-lbs-Fertilizer/dp/B005DPD4DM/ref=sr_1_7?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1404601729&sr=1-7

I found a great post here on RIU:
===========================================
but, yes, i think that this is a fine choice for soil grown plants. (i have no experience with hydro). It's hard to nutrient burn a plant with organic teas and they respond to it well. the numbers on super tea look good. but i think you will need to supplement your budswell with another tea or additive, maybe every few weeks, to grab some Nitrogen & Potash. you do need these in some quantities durring flowering.

if your soil is healthy and fully organic nitrogen will be present even without it in the nutes. but keep an eye on them for deficiencies.

always follow the directions on the container for feeding, but you can increase it slightly, more and more, toward the end of flowering. just keep an eye on them. reduce the amount of nutes by half of whatever they say for seedlings. i waited untill the 2nd set of leaves before giving it the stated nutes. know what nutrient burn looks like and watch for it.
===========================================

Good luck,

JD

Loving your garden as always JD :) I have a pic somewhere of a Pattipan I grew on the scale at 1.7 kilograms. Squash LOVES horse shit in particular. I literally mulched with it all season. Our gemsquash were also pretty insane. I never want to see either, ever again lol...

Winter here, but starting work on the Hugelkutur and the food forest now already, getting the babies going real soon, I want to have them out by August just going to use shade net for frost protection. Will have some epic pics to share by the time your winter rolls around :)

I have been making hegelkultur type of arrangements for a while now
with my spent mushroom blocks. They are great water reservoirs and
pre-inoculated with excellent fungi.

Good luck with the continuing cycle bro!

Well, I was a tinkerer, but, really, my garden was a way
for me to *garden* when my doobage just did not need
any more attention at that time. LOL! Now, with inflation
and my being so old that candy bars seem like they should
be 0.25 and not 2.50, it has become my own Victory Garden.

Thanks for popping in Don!

Hello all,

I am checking in after work today.

I am about to take a couple of plants. The oldest is a really
way too crisped Smelly Cherry that still gave me buds and
(yes, I know ;0) smells crazy. lol The next is my Engineer's Dream.
That plant has just finished fast. It will be coming out at the end
of nine weeks, and I could have taken it sooner.

I will have to get some shots of the ED...it is lovely.

So, there will be two to go in, and likely two more the next week,
with Trainwreck #2 and Psycho Killer coming out too.

It looks like the next two in will be another Plushberry and the
first of the Clonlys to make it into the tent, Blackwater.

After that it gets interesting, and I am not sure what will be ready
to replace the PK and TW#2....we will see.

Here are the new sprouts today:
IMG_3846.JPG

I have been nipping bits off of all of them, but they soldier on.

I think I wrote earlier of up-potting the two biggest, Skunk #47 and
BC Bud Depot's GSC. They are doing well, but need to give a clone
before they get flowered.

You can just see half of one at the bottom of this crappy photo, that
focuses on Blackwater (the biggest) and XXX OG which is the other
Clonly up-potted to a hempy:

XXX will likely be one of the next four going in.

Have a great rest of the week all,

JD

Yeah, the Green Crack from HSO was the same.

Jillybean was pretty quick too.

All delicious. :0)

Hey, let me add a comment. I am finding big advantages
in using the Jiffy peat pucks....the little super compressed ones
with the "skin"...to get clones.

I think that the primary advantage over the loose peat material
sold by Burpee and others is that I can check for rooting by just
popping the Jiffy puck out of the Burpee Tray.

I am still using the BST (Burpee Seed Tray ;0) but now the small
amount of peat in each cel just conducts water to the Jiffy.

Shit...gotta charge the batteries...photos of the BST later.

Take care,

JD

I've tried a few different brands of peat plugs over the years when i couldn't find the jiffys, and really havn't liked any of the others as much as the jiffy plugs.

OK, I think that my Jack The Ripper pollen did not stay put....

...I am seeing what looks like a bean or three on my Engineer's Dream:

Many, many more cool shots to post....too much to do while the sun shines...
back shortly. CU!
