Those little, leafy protrusions are called stipules. Not there yet, be patient.Does any one know if this is signs of early male or female?

Not a prob. With all the literature out there generalizing cannabis, some less "common" stuff gets left out. It's at those times you reach out for others personal experience.Thank you-never saw one with stems (filaments) before.
