The point is that they are FRIENDS- and I will support my friends in business long before that of a stranger.

Which btw... 50/g for wax seems a lil high. I can get lots of fire shatter for 50 or less from top notch shops. Wax is even cheaper usually.

Now if you wanna talk flowers... Looking anywhere from $100-$300 per oz depending on the quality and location. And trust that the 300/oz stuff is godlike compared to that bullshit ya'll pay out the ass for.

A lil confused. I think you are replying to what I said about the flower being cheaper and better here for medical patients. IF you know where to shop, you are for sure getting high quality legit strains here. But you pay a premium for it.

Steering myself back to the point and to clarify a lil...

Rec prices are high here for flower and concentrates but I would say well worth it for visitors from not the west coast, lol. I have seen low rec prices advertised for flower, 40/q, but I can't imagine it's very good. If you want high quality rec stuff you can for sure find it. A quick look on weedmaps shows 60/8th +tax at CAM. 50/g rec for wax does not seem bad, not sure how high quality it will be and can't find any top level concentrate listed for rec atm, in a hurry.

Basically, expect to pay around back home black market prices but for really good shit. And the cheaper stuff is likely to be better than what you pay for back home anyway.

Ya but I DONT GET how thers a million more people growing X AMOUNT OF PRODUCT BWING PRODUCED but the prices are jacked up?? I mean any OTHER product in the worl when more people have it and more is produced rhe price drops but clearly not for weed!!!

It's supply and demand. Black market prices are for sure lower than recreational, and depending on a number of factors, lower than medical, but black market is a whole other subject....

Medical and recreational are separated. The same dispensary grows it, but they have so many plants for medical and so many for rec.

More and more dispensaries are starting rec sales but there are far more that are still medical only....

So rec is more expensive because of lower supply and high demand. As long as they can sell the majority of their recreational supply at a high price, they will.

Like I said, some now sell quarters for the same price medical and recreational, but its the lower quality places and their lower quality bud.

If you want the high quality shit, it's from the smaller dispensaries, which already have higher prices in the first place for medical. But now also have an even higher demand on their even more limited supply.

Ive only seen what ive seen on cnn and price is the same for rec or mmj but rec is just taxed 25%!!

Anyone know what it takes or the exact laws to start a hrow op in CO?? Ive done my homework and read as much as possible about fees, rules, laws, etc.. but anyone with exact knowledge amd exp would be great!!? :)

Ya but besidea stfains with high cbds and loewr thc levels. High grade nugs are the same exact thing medical or grown for rec!! Ther is no seed for rec or seed thats just for medical use some are bettwr then others and so on!!

The larger point is that you vote with your wallet every day. How often are you voting for strangers instead of your friends? Why? Do they deserve it more than your friends do? What will you get in return besides the simple transaction? You think the goodwill of your friends is worth paying for?
