How to FIM with no room restrictions?

Right now my plant is at its 5th node and i was planing on fiming it because i heard it gives larger yields and that its mainly used for small grow rooms .. i dont have grow restriction and want to test this method out so when should i fim it?

Sounds like you need to fim right now! Do you see flowers? I start fim 1 of three when I see the first top flower shoot up! I fim each girl 2 more times with 1 week intervals or 2 more nodes (top node fimed). It has worked great for me. I used to do both (fim and top), but fiming is so much easier and gives you 4 new sites, while toping gives you 2 more. If I'm doing clones of the mother, I do not fim. I think everyone has restrictions, and its light coverage. Managing your plant canopy is important. Topping, fimming is all good,once you know its strong enough to handle it.

For bigger yeilds I favor LST/bending the plant over and anchor near the top.

You creat a bigger canopy from each plant that way, each plant has more tops, gets more light.
