But I've young kids, I'm in no rush to uproot.

I wouldn't worry too much, the USA unemployment rate is also at 11%, but if you are like the government and don't count the people without jobs, then we are almost at full employment.
Obama is NOT the biggest deficit cutter of all time, he has only cut the deficit by 50%, Jackson cut it by 100%, which makes Jackson the biggest deficit cutter of all time.
