Promix BX straight from the bag?

Hi all,

I'm researching Promix BX which I bought and I'm about to transplant into a larger pot using the new Promix. I've had it sitting a couple days after initial wetting with distilled water. Can I use this stuff straight from the bag like this or will it shock my roots?

The medium my vegging plant is in is basically 2 seasons old miracle grow that I've been feeding with General Organics. The pH of my plants soil is around 6.5, and when I tested the ProMix out of the bag it was almost 7.5. (using Rapitest soil test kit, not sure if it's accurate) My plant is doing well, and I'm afraid I'm about to wreck it.

Any advice? Do I make a mix from the ProMix and let it air out on a tarp? I need to repot so quick though since my plant is bigger than expected.

Thanks for any guidance.

pro-mix will not burn little ones, and do not used distilled water, you will have deficiencies using distilled. Fill your pot full of the bx, dig out a hole so your current pot will fit in it. hold bottom of plant with your hand, flip upside down and let plant slide out, stick in hole and cover. stress free transplant.

Sweet! Thanks bro! I thought a clean base water with G.O. line would take care of the entire nutrition of the plant. My tap water has got chlorine and chloramine. I will look into RO water, or brita. Thanks for the advice.

no worries,R/O will cause the same problems, you have to replace the calcium and magnesium that those waters remove. Just a regular filter is fine.I filter into a barrel and then run a airstone for a couple days before i use my water. check out this site, click weekly sales in top left corner,

I am running the GO Box, which adds CalMag+ as part of the regimen. Thanks for the link, those are great prices. I will be checking them out.
