So how long was it before u seen flowers giz I when on Holiday for a week after I flipped and they were all covered in lovely looking flowers when I got back was pleasantly surprised although I also had a not so pleasant surprise one had hermied through heat stress not good .

Hey green house ...your plants flowered fast because they got a longer than normal veg time in your pots....and alternating nodes on the branches.....they will always flower faster when the nodes are alternating....happy growing

i will take the fact that you don't think they are my videos as a compliment, i know how to grow, better than you it seems.
i have many grows on here but since the site got fucked over everything is a lot harder to find, i don't suppose you were around before then otherwise you might know what happened.

where you live geographically has nothing to do with how much you know about cannabis, if you have access to the best knowledge and are legal you should be doing much much better!.




giz this plant is pale green, it's hungry. if you only water every 4-5 days then this could be why, water less volume but more often and the pant will absorb more nutrients, it is most definately not over watered like i said then, hard to tell by pics.

Are you talking about the picture of the whole plant she's getting same feed as the other plant been like this for a month and only lost five or six lower fan leaves I'm still giving grow and bloom to each plant I thought dark leaves was to much nitrogen she's seems to be doing fine she's having a lot of bloom nutrients and buds growing nice so I dont think its a problem she's ten times healthier than my other plant wont adding more nitrogen cause problems in flowering and the nutes i am using or organic so they have to be broken down before being absorbed so watering every five days to less water more often wont do much to nutrient uptake as it depends on how long it takes to get broken down not amount of watering just and wouldnt a nitrogen deficent plant have yellow to pale green lower leaves not the whole plant just asking from what i have researched to what you know as a more experienced grower

scarecrow is right too, longer veg time will have a more mature plant , my mother plants all have preflowers if I flipped one of those it would flower right away and even mature clones show sex faster than seeds unless those seeds were vegged longer.

giz your plants nutes are fine you don't want that dark green it just means your plant has more nutrients in the leafs and produced more choryllphil which will take longer to flush out at the end.

I just read some of this thread, and honestly IT DOESN'T MATTER when you decide to start counting flower days. I always start from day one of 12/12, but at the end of the day it's for each individual growers reference. You should be checking trich development to know when your buds are done, and breeder times are just an estimate and almost never accurate. So it doesn't really matter to anyone except the grower who is counting.

Most breeders say to start at the onset of pistils becaue then they can advertise a shorter flowering time. So really the only reason to start counting anytime after you switch your light schedule is because we've been brainwashed by breeders advertising.

Arguing about the topic is ridiculous. There isn't a right or wrong answer. Just like ppm/ec-the conversion doesn't matter, it's just a reference!

Yoda like I say I'm no where near a expert but the light green plant has had no issues at all I have only lost a hand full of lower leaves compared to my other plant from what I know a nitrogen deficient plant would start at lower part of plant and progress upwards and then the leaves would fall off because they have been drained for the nitrogen none of that has happened except for few old bottom leaves and she's been like this colour for a month just saying from what I have been reading online lol

Why count days of flowering? No matter how many days the breeder says a plant will be in flower, a plant is FINSHED when a plant is FINISHED. Not one day less, not one week more, not 2 weeks less. It's done when it's done. Period.

Counting your days in flower in very important if you plan on running the same strain again from clone. Plants are done when they are done, but a good grower will take notes on the exact day he harvested and adjust he harvest time to suite his preference. If I take something 60 days one round, but want a more stoney high I'll know to take it longer next time. Days can make a BIG difference in the final effect of the product. Something taken at day 60 could be nice, but at day 65 killer! Again, it's a reference for each grower to use.

giz, your plants are doing well, they are producing buds and have a lot of intact leaves, they are not perfect however and all i'm trying to do is help you understand that there is always something more you can do to improve the quality of your finished product. they look hungry to me, if they were my plants i would up the feed strength at least for one or two waterings to see if you can stop them from going yellow.

It's normal to have some yellow like that, especially 30+ days of 12/12 with a short flowering indica. I personally don't like to add any extra nitrogen during flowering. I stop feeding completely at least two weeks prior to harvest and let the plant 'eat itself' before I harvest, so I see a lot of yellow, purple, and red on leaves by harvest time. If it's progressing rather quickly, I would suggest upping your base nute slightly until it stops. Don't go overboard, if it's not progressing that quickly then it's probably just running it's natural course. Don't make the mistake of trying to fight it much later in flower. Any yellowing after day 50 should be considered normal IMO.

Yes, that is all true, but my comment was aimed at the original argument as to when to start counting flowering days. No matter when you start counting, the number of days to reach your desired level of budding will be the days you count, not some number of days that a breeder tells you that your plant is in flower. So start counting from the flip or start counting from the first stage of actual flowering, it makes no difference. The plant will be done when the plant is done. Period.

There's no rapid yellowing the few odd lower leaves that's it get a dead leaf or every week or so that's why I haven't upped the grow dosage only still using it as it a plant tonic through flower thanks for your advice mate

Your probably good then, I would keep doing what your doing. Everything looks great, IMO. A couple yellow leaves here and there is definitely normal during flowering, and IMO is better than overfeeding. Unless it starts to rapidly progress, I would just keep an eye on it.

I know your trying to help mate and I'm gratefull for that I'm not having any yellow on the pale plant only old fan leaves now and thn at the bottom which isn't a rapid progress the pale plant dosage is going up next watering but don't want add to much nitrogen I'm already close to highest reccomended dose stated on the bloom bottle I will leave them for few days now then check in on th m any worsening of problems I will up nutrients like you said if not they will stay on current dose I could give a dose of extra nitrogen to see if colour goies darker I will try that next feed see if it makes a difference thanks for your help and information mate learning more everyday

That's what I will do if she stays the same and doesn't progress and the buds still fattening I dont see the need to add more feed but if it all goes tits up in few days then I have to add more feed thanks again mate
