Haha, I forgot what it was, so I had a look at the bag. It is MG Organic Choice-no amendments.

I've been doing all my grows with 6 inch clay pots, so the party cup isn't really much smaller than I'm used to already.

I don't think attempting this gives me any legs up. Nor is it cheating. I think it's putting me at a disadvantage, and I should be able to fall flat on my face, as long as I follow the rules.

BUT do tell how you figure a separate res is a disadvantage over containing it all in a 16oz cup?? I would love to know

But you still outright called me a cheater, although I think I've been quite transparent from the start, and fall within the rules.

Everything is contained within the cup. I'm just automating the watering part of the process. Its no different than setting up a drip system or any other technique for watering a plant, other than hand watering straight H2O. Most of the nutes are already in the amended soil part of the cup, and if I need to feed, I do that by hand, as per normal.

I'm at a disadvantage since I'm trying something I've never done, with more moving parts and potential to fuck up, which would put me out of the comp, since I'd have all my eggs in one basket.
