FALL Autoflower PARTY CUP challenge 9-4-2020

These gals haven't advanced much since I posted a week ago, just more leaves have dropped.

Not sure if it's worth while to continue to flog these gals like rented whores.

I have started a new batch for my winter grow....I wasn't going to start until after Christmas, but I don't think I'll be leaving town this year, so I might as well start a new batch

I started 5 Blueberry seeds (regular photos) but only two sprouted, so 6 days later I started four mexican sativa-dom plants (from seeds that I brought home from Mexico a few years ago).

Thanks man! She had to lose a few leaves to match my input feed but eventually the input N was high enough to keep her ticking over.

I used a 600w MH from seed to harvest. Since I tend to run seedlings with mature plants.

Super dense buds and it might be me but the quality seems better than HPS.

Say if you have x amount of terpenes for 100g of bud. Then if you have 150g if that bud. You’re not going to get exactly 50% more terpenes. It’s the same with fruit/veg etc. So you kind of sacrifice flavour for yield in that respect.
 
I chopped the gals yesterday.... 3 months / 91 days

They aren't fully matured but you can only beat a dead horse so long with CFL & LED bulbs

Didn't take long to trim these gals as there wasn't a lot of leaves to cut.....but I was pleasantly surprized how sticky they were

I'll likely smoke the colas and make oil out of the rest......it was a fun project to help pass the time during these boring COVID days

It's crazy how these plants are putting out these unrealistic tasty terps. White Crack was like that, you would think you were smoking something flavored. lip smacking smack smack lol

keep'em going man, I wish I had continued on with autos, I'm attempting a photo grow right now and temps are not looking good for OFF cycle.

Totally man! Once they have a good 2 months cure too that’s when u really taste all those intricate flavours!

Can u lower ur extraction fan speed?

Still using 2x PC fans for extraction so that's a no. They've been on 24/0 + vivosun heat mat. Not sure what I'll do when it's time to flip
If this grow goes south, I'll just go back to running autos only until it warms up again

So what night temps do u have?

Keeping the roots warm is most important. Plant can deal with cold air temps if the roots are warm.

Could also introduce a night cycle slowly and lower the temps so it doesn’t shock them.

Maybe lower the temp then before introducing darkness? Will shock em less temperature wise.

I find anything below 50 really slows down growth.

Indica strains can tolerate the cold a little better I’ve found.
 
These gals took longer than normal to dry as our humidity has been high with cool temps

Had them hanging in a dark grow tent for a week but they were still not dry enough, so cut the branches off and put them into paper bags.

After 3 days in paper bags, they were dry enough to put into mason jars.

A - 15 grams, C - 20 grams, D - 12 grams, E - 17 grams ......TOTAL - 64 grams
