Treating for a rust pathogen. What I thought was Powdery Mildew was the spores spreading. Sulpher burner on the way. Defoliate was harsh and I rewiped whole tent with ACV at 10-1. Plant looks bad. still only fan leaves inpacted but not many of them left.

Can a pot plant live with no fan leaves?

Today was my last attempt to save this grow. I have a pathogen prolly from my own garden causing leaves over 3 inches to die off. Pulled entire tent outside and used a sulpher smoker. I have used these before and they work.
If plant responds by clearing the blight I will resume. If not there is no reason ro flower this as the flowers will get the blight. I have been thinking about flipping it just to see how long the hormonal changes take and how the nutrition needs change. Then culling it and starting again next year.

update:
Pathogen was treated and the way the blight progressed changed in the leaves. No new infections but plant drinking like mad. reviewed data and decided to back nutes way down as plant is still sick. cleaned and reloaded bucket at 380 ppm and will allow ph to stay higher longer than the even split I was doing to help with C K P nutes.
Removed last badley contaminated leafs and tied down to spread out. Actually tried a fimm on the second longest stem. Looks like the picture.

If this keeps growing will flip in a few weeks after it fills in. If not I have more grow toys on the way. Infinity heat box and the infinity 19l humidifier. will try componenent control but if I need to will get a controller.
I told myself if I failed I would keep at it and that is the plan

Happy day!

It looks like the plant was damaged by the lockout. Went from 700 ppm down to 200 over a 2 week period and been watching ph every 4 hours. Leaves are better they just get larger before damage. Will leave alone today after thining it down another 120 ppm. Already have the data points that point to the failure. 13 days ago it went from 1 qrt water every 3 days ( I am bad about not putting the ph test fluid drawn out for testing back in the bucket. The increase in the plant drinking so quickly is a very big sign of lockout and I wish I had those 2 weeks back.

macro pic taken of the largest untouched leaf. Will review at 6pm tonight and if it is still creeping will call it.
Seems like such a shame. The new growth is big and beautiful and smells so good when the vdp is spot on for any length of time. The fimm i tried worked and I got 4 starts from it. If this would clear 2 more weeks of veg I think it would have caught up. If just all the nodes on now flowered I would be happy.

Update
This grow journal is now closed.
The final plant is unable to shake whatever nutritional overload did to the chemical structure factory in the plant. The plant has returned to a slowly rising ph with slowly falling EC and dringing about 12 oz in 24 hours not 64oz like it was. It looks like whatever engine in the leaves that uses CPK is shot and unable to convert or use nutes.
Key data point was when I mixed my first very weak nute batch I had used warm water from my tap and adjusted ec. The adjustment was over 720 ppm from the hot side. Plant did fine the first week.
The second week I upped nutes from 120 to 200 ppm but I used water from my cold side tap and adjusted down 720 ppm and Ec to get 200.
But due to a scale sweeper being used the hot side was 720 ppm the cold side was 330. I did not think* I needed to verify EC from my tap every pour. The math error put my 4 week old plant at almost 600 ppm.
I did not catch the EC error until the lockout when it started to drink 1.5 qrts a day. By then the damage was done.
Grow journal 2 will be launched after some improvements in my system. Going to convert my buckets into a Rdwc system with a ph monitor and graph. From what I learned I am to busy with life to micromanage a grow like bucket dwc.
