Hell man one of my spots was an 8 mile
hike there and back combined.
Right now though would be the prime time to go out scouting for spots. The trees are full of leaves. You'll know what your spots are going to look like in 2015 and if they'll get good direct sunlight. You can't just plant them badboys out in a random spot in the woods under trees.
Also Google Earth is your friend for pre scouting.
You said there was 2000 acres around you but it's private property. Nothing ventured nothing gained. That's why it's called guerrilla growing. It comes from guerrilla soldiers. Gotta be stealthy.
Google Earth will show you right where houses are aka where you'll avoid line of sight.
One of my spots this year has several houses a good 400 yards away. Buuuuuuuut it has a wall of small trees, bushes, shrubs and blackberry bushes in between me and them. Part of that wall I have to do the crouch and sneak to avoid line of sight.
Hell I even threw time release nutes on the blackberry bushes and the smaller trees so they'll pack on the girth in case I decide to do it there again in 2015.
So I get the added bonus of checking on my girls AND bringing in a load of blackberries every trip. Those berries are fat too.
You just gotta get out there and do it though. Plus you won't have to worry about that measly little plant in your dresser. You can grow some monsters and plenty of them.
Most of the people here being a "smartass" were just telling it like it is unfortunately. In the big picture you would be putting your dad's (and your) entire living situation at risk over an ounce or 2 of dope every 80 - 90 days.
If he hasn't gone into your room in 3 months he sure as hell would investigate I'm sure during the weeks anything you had in there flowering would take.
