nirvana seeds.. what to expect?

hey everybody. I'm finishing up my first grow. Started 5 plants in about the middle of May, ended up with 1 female. I ran this grow like a test run of sorts, using bag seed and setting up my grow area/conditions and learning as I went along, but out of 5 seeds, having 1 female is a little discouraging so now that I have a setup ready and some experience under my belt I think I'm going to go for some feminized seeds from nirvana. I'm curious about peoples experience with them though, even though they generally seem to have a good reputation. What I'd really like to know is:

how stealthy do they ship? What does the return address say? If its just seeds will they be in a parcel or an envelope?

are the feminized seeds really worth it? or do you actually end up with some males in the bunch.

anyone ever had a package seized? what happened?

does anyone on here live the southeastern US with experience ordering beans through the mail and have any suggestions or perhaps better recommendations for me?

but to answer one of your ?s yeah feminized seeds are worth it IMO. the chances you get a male are very very slim.
just so you know you can make your own fem seeds. by spray a female with colliodial silver, im doing it now.

I placed an order with Nirvana recently. 40 seeds, all got here in a short amount of time and were packaged pretty discreetly, make sure you really tear it apart. Seeds are in these little plastic tabs and each seed has it's own plastic container, none were crushed and all seemed like viable seeds.

never grown fem seeds. their return address is an exchange office. if customs seizes your seeds they send you something in the mail. idk, never had it happen.

Is it legal for customs to seize seeds from a registered medical marijuana patient, i wonder?

I was just reading about that, and that's definitely something that sounds cool. Unfortunately I only have 1 female at the moment and would prefer to mother out a good strain. I'm thinking of trying out ak48, northern lights, and aurora indica all at the same time and really getting down and stinky.

Yeah its legal for them to seize "contraband" even tho seeds are legal to possess.

Never grown nirvana seeds but every femmed seed I have grown has been a female. Also not in USA but yes postal service is federal jurisdiction so its legal lol. Check out Mark Emery . I know many people prefer regs to start a breeding/ clone setup but again I've never had issues. Just lots if pheno's which is sometimes a good thing, sometimes not so good lol.

I am in florida and have ordered from nirvana in the past. The fems are fems and never had a herm issue. Took about 2 weeks to get the orders. I really dig their Wonder Woman, its not fire but its a solid commercial strain, the power diesel sucked in my opinion and the white rhino was ok. I would suggest THseeds or Dinafem for fem seeds way before Nirvana, I dont like G13 as of late either.

I went with nirvana because this was my first indoor grow ever in a tent with lighting. My only previous grow experience was a long time ago and outside. I just wanted to go cheap while I learn indoor and when I bought Snow White they were on sale for 29.00 plus 11.00 shipping. If I screwed up no big loss. Nirvana gives 10 free seeds with every order but they're mixed regular seeds. I'm looking past nirvana already for my next order and I'll be looking at what jbone just suggested. I'm still trying to sort thru all the seedbanks. I journaled my Snow White grow but it's in the indoor led section. I also heard good things about wonder woman. My next grow is bubblelicious nirvana fem. I've heard good things about herbies but a number people have told me to stay away from attitude because of confiscations. Nirvanas stealth is decent and you won't pay extra for it. Hope this helps, good luck grower.

I didnt talk about MK ultra but it is one of my favorite strains, Darkstar, Sage N Sour, Ultra Sour are all great. Nirvanas power diesel was easy to grow , no issues, but the smoke was really average, I didnt have a single person I smoke with compliment it, on the other hand the wonder woman always got complimented and its just a decent commercial.

I dunno, I've grown most of the nirvana standard seeds. Not too bad really, genetic description is fairly accurate. Good germination rates, no real problems. Potency is ok.. Literally ran the seeds for years looking for keepers. Keep in mind I was going through seeds from 2000-2007... So my reports are kinda stale.

Some memories about Nirvana...

I did like the Aurora Indica, easy to grow, good yield, good potency. Papaya, Love the fat colas on this girl, tasty..
Some of the knockoff strains were kinda a disappointment, AK48/WW/WRhino.. Eh... picky feeders, and not as good as the real stuff, my friend had the serious seeds ak47, and it was way better than the ak48 I had done.

Its been awhile since Ive ordered seeds... and that was when gypsy was running the show.

Shipping is in a tyvek envelope, other than the out of country address, nothing strange.

Never had a problem with males or hermaphodites with femmed seeds, on an average they have slightly more germination problems than standard seeds.. Or so ive observed.

Unfortunately, if you live in the US and are a medical marijuana patient, your seeds can be seized. Even though some states have Medical Marijuana programs, Pot is STILL listed as an illegal substance in the eyes of the Federal government. Welcome to the Dark Ages!!!!!

Try the Snow White, after a month of curing it's turned out to be pretty decent weed. Good taste, good high especially daytime. I shared with some people who really liked it and thought it was better than some dispensary weed. Of course they're weed is hit or miss, all looks and smells the same and they do short cures. You're better off growing ur own.
