Deficiency or Lockout?

I've noticed this developing on 2 of the same clones the one directly under the light slightly more so than the other. Next watering I'll post soil PH although I doubt it has deviated. My soil ph hasn't budged since I started using the General Organics line. Thoughts?

Tops of plants are about 6" from lens on a ventilated 400w ceramic metal halide. Thermometer at canopy level stays between 83-85. Canopy checks out at around 85.5 on the non contact infared. I should note this is on the top set of fans but no damage on the top of the plant which is allot closer to the light.

what is the ppm's of your nutes? temps are a little high, I would also raise that light another foot.

Cant read the PPM on water with organic nutes from what I understand that shouldn't matter any with organic any way. I tend to thing that heat is not the issue here as I have used this setup for veg/flower in the past. I even ran this same bulb in a open fixture at similar distances with out issue.

got bad news for you, Just because it says ORGANIC on the bottle, doesn't make it organic, it is derived from organic materials, and yes, you can add to much, which it looks like you did.
I also veg with a 400 cmh, I have a fan blowing across the bulb and keep the plants at least 2 ft away.

GO is a very acidic line. Like how synthetics use salts to feed the plants GO uses acids to allow the nutrients to be in an available form. PH can be between 4.8-5.5 using that line without PH adjustment.

I am three weeks into flower and this chart says your light is too far away.

that chart doesn't specify open or closed hood. and plants don't use foot candles, they use photosynthetic active radiation, which you can't see with your eyes.
they would have rust spots if it was cal/mag. the tips are burnt, it is nute burn
That maybe. But by your own words its nute burn. I've seen heat stress and light bleaching before that's not what this is.

Do you pH?

Thank you for the constructive input. I have not been pHing this line although it seems that I may have to start if this is causing an issue.

Yeah when I use the GO CaMg+ by itself it will alone drop my RO water (7.5) it into the low 6 range, which is awesome! However when your combining it with the other products in the line in my experience you gotta pH it back up.

I agree with Chuck when it comes to the cause of the likely cause of the problem, pic 3 shows over-fertilizing. Many of the perceived deficiencies are caused by over-fertilizing, imbalance, and nutrient antagonism. Simply put, if you provide too much of a certain element, you prevent the proper uptake of other elements. By adding more crap, the typical advice given, you only make matters worse. And yes, raise that light, it doesn't stop after 6inches...

Yeah when I use the GO CaMg+ by itself .
oh... what happened to the other 20 bottles you use? Seems like it's the answer to most deficiencies in mj forums, calmag... maybe some people think the mag stands for "magic"?

I have evolved over the years...I've been growing for over 5 years now, I know thats nothing compared to the old timers, but it's been enough time to learn a few things along the way.

I never use 20 products at once buddy. Just over a course of a grow. I'm giving constructive advice, why do you want to start this up again?

I have a mixture of 2 different clones right now and the other strain is taking the feeding cycle fine and growing quite well. This strain may need to be dialed back a bit.

Lights just went so I went in with my 500lm flashlight to take some shots with better color.

I'm just messing with you Mick, chillax and open another bottle cause as long as you use 20 bottles (which neutralizes a lot of the constructive advice you give) I will continue to bring it up. You're a bad example to mj growers, nothing personal though.

are you following a nute schedule? or do you even measure out how much you use of each product?
