Super cropping in Flower

From what I understand, towards the top, by the main cola. I super cropped all 3 of mine (in flower) about 2-4 inches down from the top.(ima bout 2 weks into flower, which iheard is the cut off point)
If you are only 5 weeks in, keep doing it every so often, as long as the plant doesnt stress or show signs of messing up. Now with that said I am not an experienced grower.
This is my 1st run and I am applying techniques on my second round, I am pinching and topping my clones, they are getting crazy!

On my 1st round, not only did they go back to almost normal positions (within 7-8 hrs), the lower branches def. started growing up to act as the main. Its pretty awesome, being a 1st timer to see it happen.

I may not be correct on the methods, but it sure in the hell worked! My uneven canopy is now pretty close to even! Looking at them at the end of the day, what I did it at the beginning of the day/light-on cycle, they look so much better!

So a few inches from the main top and then things should even out a bit more? Sounds quite interesting And don't worry about cropping the smaller stems towards the bottom just the main top?

i just started about a week ago on bending and snaping i will do this till the end of flower atm today she will be 3 weeks old this photo was from 4 dayz ago she has more bends and snaps down that main stem

until the end huh? is it ok to do that? (im new at this).

Yeah that is my best suggestion. for a 5 week old plant the inches may be difficult. However, the super crop from what i understand makes the plant think that something happened to the main shoot, so the other branches try to fight for who is going to be the new main. So it forces them to start growing up and bigger to be the main. Only the plant gets tricked bc the main will heal and will remain the main. Funny how science works.

I would start with the main top see what happened then try it with your other bigger branches. Bc doing it to them like pinching your stems, it will send signals to that area and will create a knuckle at the site of the bend. That will make the branch bigger thus producing bigger, and most time it will create a new branch as well for more growth and product.

Now all of ou that are reading this, please correct me if I am wrong but don't scold me, please just inform me.

I think 5 weeks is a bit early bc the plant is trying to grow into a bigger plant. I would try the top, but would wait until the branches are more developed so that the super crop will have more effect ehh?

Don't top it now...Let Her grow like she is and continue to tweek the stem's they will be dripping ooey gooey awesomeness when She's Ready...The way I see it you aren't doing anything wrong if your learning.

yeah i super right till the end man faceing the buds more towards the light but yes i am a little brutal with them i stop the last week of flower

Thanks for the help mate. Isnt science cool! Awesome how the stems all fight to be the main top Ive just repotted them so ill let them settle in and then crop them next week. Also do you reckon I should top them? Ive got 4 so I might do an experiment and crop two a leave two and see who comes out best haha

11 days is not too late, crop away.

NOT RECOMMENDED but i have supercropped very late in flower out of necessity with little to no problem. Sometimes one cola just decides it wants to be super tall and needs to be tamed late. I have literally pinched and bent over 4 inch long colas that were too close to the light and going to be ruined and they kept growing pointing at the wall sideways. This should only be done out of pure necessity as it could break off the cola or hermi the plant.

Here is a little update on my kids...and the super-cropped. Im about 20 days into flower.

I grow outdoor only so my response May or may not help you but I start super cropping when the plant is about a foot and a half. I do this for lateral growth. When the lateral growth gets longer and has about 3 nodes I pinch the top few inches under the top bunch of growth. I LST to I encourage growth not to stop it. A safer alternative may be to just tie the plant down. At least that's what I would do.

Think about employing both Supercropping and LST to get the canopy your looking for. No reason to just use one method if two gives you better results.
