Proud of my Conduct during Confrontation

I'm sitting in my car, backed into a parking space outside a hotel and a truck backs in on my passenger side way too close to my car. I sit there anticipating that the driver will open his door and hit my car, which he does. When he realizes he can't open his door wide enough to get out, he starts smashing his door against mine repeatedly. I immediately open my drivers side door, pop my head up and yell

"HEY! PULL YOUR FUCKING TRUCK FORWARD DUMBASS! THEN BACK UP AND GET OUT! STOP SMASHING MY FUCKING CAR!!"

My completely warranted response elicits an aggressively drunken response from him, devoid of humility. He starts smashing his door against the side of my car WHILE threatening to "beat my ass" as 5 of his boys stand by idly, chuckling quietly like school girls. I realize any physical action I take will most likely be unfairly reciprocated with a gang jump or stabbing/shooting. Groups of drunk beta males always adhere to their pack regardless of reason. So I open my door once more and in a calm tone I encourage him:

"Keep digging your own grave you dumb fuck. At MINIMUM you'll be paying for all damages inflicted on my car"

He smashes my car and rants some more before walking over to my drivers side and knocks on my window. My blood is boiling as my body shakes/quivers from adrenaline, but I command myself to stay calm & ignore his presence while consoling myself through self-assurance that he'll pay for this. Then the unexpected; while still cussing, he assures me that no damage occurred and he begs/pleads for me to acknowledge his lie

Too late you piece of shit. Charges filed. See your broke ass in court

Yes, I was a huge loser. I had a major problem with freebase and am actively seeking self-improvement while paying retribution to the friends and family I hurt

This episode you speak of could just be karma letting you now how it feels to be fucked over
As you stated you feel you need to pay retribution to some folks you hurt......that's very decent of you at least you realized your misdeeds and want to make a change in your life.

Sooooooo, there WAS plenty of lube and you still did nothing. When you filed your police report, did they file the charges as property damage to a residence?
