Most americans don't even care about the dutch because we know we have tons of high grade cannabis everywhere. I would have to argue about the dutch creating more hybrids than in the states that are keepers. Most dutch strains are old and not relevant here in the states with the thousands of breeders here now.
where they come from is of no importance to me
i just see it as the largest gene pool to select from came in the early 90s when seeds
started getting shipped around the world, this allowed for huge numbers of hybrids to be grown and keepers selected from these seeds
which were mostly dutch , again the fact they were dutch is of no consequence to me its just how it was
obviously now there is an even bigger gene pool of hybrids but much of these are not unique
some of the older crosses have been lost
again it is the dutch and the uk seed companies that are spreading these genetics around the world
much of the problem is your laws on seeds, im sure you would of done this all yourselves
and perhaps the dutch would of not had a gap in the market to fill in the early 90s since you could not export seeds from the USA
