Hey, Cakes, do you have a little table, (or can get one,) that will straddle that toilet? It will give more area for you with low effort.

Now is the time to get the bottom layer in place.

What cha' growin' there, Grower?
yeah i wanted a flood table for them to sit on..i found my timer and when i added to the electrical lineup it blew the bathroom fuse..so then i just went back to how i had it..now it blows even though it run all day yesterday that way..go figure.

it's a mix of blue cheese and chemdawg4 and i've mixed them up a bit..oh well!

Well remember my little thing about the Amps? You will need to spread the load to other rooms with extension cords. I need 30 amps min. And I think you will also. That is the bathroom, plus a bedroom.
It's usually 15 Amps per room.

Temperature can even affect the load and sometime those damn electrons won't behave. :)

we need pics of the electric box in that apartment. might only be 15 or 20 amps to the whole place. can't run the microwave without turning off the lights first.

how are temps in there?

A 20amp apt? yikes. Gotta take it easy. But she did say the bathroom circuit blows. So, that means.....??

the bathroom was running yesterday and today until i added timer. then i undid that and now all of a sudden won't work without tripping switch..so i just got an extension cord.

i'm still looking for my digital thermostat but considering it's comfortable with the door open..just waiting to get that AC vent.

Is there any options to put a small additional fuse box specifically for your grow.

In a shed at a house I rented once it had its own fuse box with 6 30 amp breakers.

Was pretty obvious to me that shed was used for growing ganga, so I simply repeated the inevitable ;)

Got my seeds for this new run BTW, I got Purple Bud and Skunk #1 from White Label (Sensi Seeds subsidiary). The Skunk #1 is amazing, the Purple Bud is an Indica Dom I'm trying for the first time.

Not many purps around here, people will like the novelty factor.

Is it tripping the fuse or the GFCI?

the fuse..there is no GFCI on the outlet..weird because it was working.
Well if it's the fuse blowing you're overloading the circuit. Couple of questions;

A) Does your apartment have a GFCI in the electrical box?

B) Is the circuit you're using to power the grow shared with anything else?

yes to A
i'm going to say no to B

i don't understand how i can be overloading the circuit if it worked fine for 2 days. i was plugging/unplugging..just when i added the timer..but now it doesn't even work without the timer like it did.

Since you have a GFCI in your apartment and it didn't trip you can rule out current leakage to earth or neutral. (which is a very good thing).

The only thing it could be based on what you've described is an overloaded circuit - drawing too many amps than the fuse can handle.

You said it was working before the addition of the timer which blew the fuse.

Is the fuse a resettable type or the old school wire ones?

When you place you hand on the timer how hot to the touch is it? Warm, hot, can't tell?

resettable switch type..whenever something trips, i immediately take my hands off everything and wait for fire..so can't tell?:P
