When should i flip to 12/12?

A rule of thumb is they double or triple(not likely) in flower so I would veg more to get 2 oz a plant if I understood right?they look great btw

thanks running botanicare cns 17 line so I should be looking at 12-16 inches then flip if I wanna keep the 1000 at about 3 feet or so away from tops

You've got 16 plants in there that will quickly fill up your 1000w footprint.

Is that a 5x5 tent your growing in?

If so IMO I would flip to flower within the next 10 days or you could be looking to rehouse some plants.

4.5 x 4.5 x 6.5 I was planning on running sog with even canopy but some of then didn't grow as fast as others

Well, this grow I did calculations -- I have 42 inches of grow space. I wanted 10 inches between the light and the tops (air cooled, so they can be a little closer). I flipped at 11 inches, so that 3x would take me to 33 max. Well, I got screwed. They MORE THAN tripled and grew past the light. So now my top colas, above the light, aren't nearly as big as they should be.

The mid-level colas look pretty big, though, so maybe they're trading off.

Next time I flip at 10 inches, no question.

Good looking starters you have there. I hope you don't plan to grow 16 or so girls out in a 4' or 5' tent...it would be a maintenance nightmare. It would also hurt your future growth into the lower nodes. In any case, I always flip when the seedlings get 8-10 inches tall (5 or 6 nodes) on indoor grows, as they will try to climb out the top otherwise. Good luck! Peace

It might be crowded but I think the 1000 watt will penetrate enough even in the lower bud sites

I'm just telling you from experience that it will be extremely difficult to run 16 plants in a 4 or 5' tent. Watering and feeding will be a bitch too. Let us know how it turns out.

I use 2 gal containers too. they all have dishes under them, so I know when there is enough reserve for later. I water every night (1/2 gal each) and nute feed every 3rd watering. I figured you had grown that many before and I;m sure you know what your doing. Keep us posted friend! Peace

wow i water mine 1 every 2 days and feed on sundays. one liter pots.... simply top grows..
