Is G13 C99 a real C99?

amen on the wagon, that was my buddy when I did it, I had 6 or 7 plants in 8 gallon buckets. the biggest thing for me was the bouncing colas, when I moved them, they'd sway around with their weight, and were so damn tall...

That's funny! Mine sways all around and the buds barely fit through the door.
It grew up outside in Colorado and the weather here is varying all the time. major wind, hail, rain. It's a beast. I topped and bent it early and spread it out. I topped it one more time for 8 colas and it built big antlers. I have the camera, I'm going for bud pics.

Just wondering if it's a real C99 or at least a cross with the Brothers Grimm's stuff and if it's worth it.
Strain description says it's Grapefruit x Pineapple but isn't the original C99 a backcrossed Jack Herer pheno? Anyone grew it?

No clue on the source or authenticity of their C99 genetically but I can say that their version is very nice...pinappley, almost a kushy undertone, and strong hybrid high even though they call it a sativa...better than their blue Og for sure.

FS is only 7-8 wks in bloom; 12/12 from se-ed would likely not yield enough to matter. If you're in a hurry, put it in your bloom area a couple of days after taking 2 clones. Your mom, depending on grow factors, should give you a zip. Give your clones 2 weeks veg after rooting, and they'll reward you with mucho good-o in 7 1/2 weeks bloom.

I'm more concerned about the hight and i want to give 12/12 from seed or rooted clone a go anyway since i've seen the thread of the guy with the Frank Zappa avatar.

Their Chocolate Heaven that was a freebie might be the 2nd worst plant I have ever seen, just behind Tangerine Dream from BF.

That was a bad plant! I mean mine didn't intersex, but my friends outdoor plant from the bean I gave him was simply bad quality by my standards. He was more excited about it than I was, but again he's glad simply to have 4 or 5 ounces. He should of had more from that space.

The buds were tiny, nothing at all like a thai plant or even sativa to me. Smelt like candy, so at least that was a selling point. The effects were kinda short lived and not anything a grower would brag about, or run a second time for that matter.

ETA about mites. Outdoors, spider mites often are competing with nature. Things can eat them and they really like certain conditions. If the environment isn't overly dry, it seems that alone can help keep them at bay. Spider mites and mite in general don't like high humidity. That's why they can be so destructive indoors as usually humidity is low in our gardens. Spider mites I found were a walk in the park compared to the cursed broad mites. I was able to get rid of them with some neam oil mixed with pepper spray and giving the plants a shower now and then. No poisons needed, just time and persistence.

I had a particularily good time with my C99 from g13, the Blue Og was also pretty good... but I felt like both strains weren't A+ they were about C+ in my book.

The C99 tasted amazing and yielded decent but I felt more indica in it than sativa and that is a let down to me. Especially when I was looking for something racy and got something mellow...
